This property is a spectacular example of a traditional Spanish finca and was featured as the location for Sky 1's program 'Holiday Makers'.
Lounge Areas
Salon Andaluz is a large wood beamed living room overlooking the pool and really is the heart of this large Marbella villa.
It has comfortable sofas, a wood burning fire for cooler winter evenings, dining tables and a fully equipped bar.
The bar includes draught beer facility, optics, glassware, fridge, sink, large screen TV and wifi.
The Grounds
The grounds offer ample opportunities for social gatherings or private relaxation. The scenic gardens include rambling lawns and impressive tropical plants, set against the backdrop of the jaw-dropping Andalusian mountains. Whereas, the rooftop terraces offer comfortable lounging areas with views out to the Mediterranean sea.
The central Plaza Bougainvillea acts a centre piece to the impressive outdoor facilities. The numerous seating areas provide many locations to soak up the sun or lounge in the shade. The classical Spanish plaza is punctuated by a beautiful swimming pool with poolside terrace bar ideal for social gatherings.
The full impact of these grounds can only truly be felt by experiencing them first hand.
The Rooms
Courtyard family suite (bedrooms 1 & 2)
Entrance through patio doors from a lovely courtyard overlooking the pool. These rooms consist of a double/twin bedroom with adjoining second double/twin bedroom. Including an en suite bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchenette joins this suite to the El Sol family suite.
El Sol family suite (bedrooms 3 & 4)
Entrance through patio doors from a lovely courtyard overlooking the pool. These room consists of a large double/twin bedroom with adjoining second double/twin bedroom with garden views. Included is an en suite bathroom off with shower and bath. The kitchenette joins this suite to the Courtyard family suite.
Poolside suite (bedrooms 5 & 6)
Private entrance into hallway with kitchenette complete with fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob, sink, kettle and toaster. One of two doors leads into double/twin bedroom with an en suite bathroom including a bath and a shower. The second door leads to a large bedroom with double/twin beds and extra single bed (3 beds total). En suite bathroom containing bath and shower included.
Above this guest suite is an upstairs roof terrace with day bed and sea and mountain views, and outside seating/lounge area outside the private entrance.
Master suite (bedrooms 7 & 8)
Private entrance from the garden into the double/twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom containing bath and shower. Access to the ‘Jack and Jill’ shared kitchenette complete with fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob, sink, kettle and toaster.
Private entrance off garden to Master bedroom with four poster bed and sofa, through to a dressing area and large en suite bathroom with double size walk in shower.
Garden suite (bedrooms 9 & 10)
Entrance from private garden and al fresco dining area into a shared kitchenette complete with fridge freezer, microwave, 2 ring hob, sink, kettle and toaster. Doors off to either side lead to a hallway with ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower over and at either end a double/twin bedroom. Both the bedrooms have patio doors out to tranquil garden and dining area.
Guest access
The finca offers ample space to relax and unwind. The main house is the only area off limit to guests.

Location description
Finca Buenaventura is located on the Costa del Sol, the coastline of Malaga. One of the main attractions of the area is its wonderful climate, with more than 320 sunny days each year. It is situated in the charming village of Cancelada and just a short walk away, guests will find local restaurants including El Carnicero, well-known in the area for its steaks, and a number of traditional Spanish bars and cafes.
There are also 12 golf courses within 15 km of the property, which overlooks the most revered golf course on the Costa del Sol- Los Flamingos. Our staff are able to arrange golfing trips for our guests, and can provide concessionary rates due to our special relationship with local courses.
There are a number of other popular destinations surrounding the Finca, and guests will certainly never be short of things to do.
Puerto Banús is the most famous of these, and is just a 15-minute drive from Finca Buenaventura. Here you can spend the the day people-watching in one of the many water-front restaurants or cafes, while the mega-yachts bob in the harbour and the Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Bentleys cruise past. Tourists and locals alike can peruse the new collections of designers including Louis Vuitton, Dolce&Gabanna and Christian Dior. However, Puerto Banús really comes alive at night when people spill out of the bars into the streets in glamorous outfits, and later head to local nightclubs including Olivia Valere and Cavalli Club.
Marbella’s Casco Antiguo (Old Town) is a more traditional affair, and consists of cobbled alleyways dotted with tapas bars, chic boutiques selling handmade clothing and jewellery and the beautiful Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square). This is only a 25 minute drive from the Finca.
Another attraction not to be missed in the Marbella area is the Paseo Marítimo (Beach Walkway). Covering a distance of more than 6 kilometres, the pathway in lined with palm trees and will take pedestrians along the sea front through a plethora of bars, cafes and restaurants while they take in the stunning vistas.
Finca Buenaventura guests will also be within 15 minutes of Estepona, with its many beach restaurants, shops, bars and lively atmosphere. This is known as the quieter end of the Costa del Sol, however, there is still plenty to do. The marina, while not as extravagant as Puerto Banús, is a great place to spend an afternoon watching the local fisherman’s boats cruise in and out. There is also a craft market here on Sundays. The old town is a warren of pedestrianised cobbled streets which guests can get lost in for many hours, stopping for some Sangria along the way.
Other popular destinations surrounding the Finca include Sotogrande, where guests can spend a day on the beautiful beaches or attend one of the frequent polo events in Summer, and Ronda, a historic mountaintop city famous for its views from the famous stone bridge which spans its gorge. Benahavís is another attraction not to be missed, well-renowned for its Michelin starred restaurants which have led to its nickname ‘The Dining Room of the Costa Del Sol’. For more adventurous guests, Benahavís is also home to the river walk which consists of jumping off rocks into natural pools, swimming through caves and admiring the waterfalls.
