Description
A beautifully fitted and furnished large holiday house sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, with views of beautiful mountainous countryside. 30 minutes drive to the sea.
There are three double bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds. Only one bathroom at the moment. There’s also a double sofa bed in the dining area. There is a very large kitchen dining room running from front to back of the house and a large separate sitting room. There is a large BBQ. 2Gb wireless broadband is installed, and a DVD Player – along with a selection of CDs and DVDs.
All linen and towels are provided – you just need to bring your beach towels!
The nearest village is Erula, 10 minutes drive up the road and has two small grocery shops, a pizzeria, three bars, a pharmacy, a bank and an intriguing tiny museum. Perfugas which is 15 minutes drive down the hill is more interesting, and contains 3 supermarkets, lovely local wine and cheese co- operatives, best ice cream shop ever, lots of bars, another museum and some nice churches. It is a quiet town and not touristy – you will see farm tractors parked up alongside the cars. The seaside (30 minutes drive) is more touristy – more Italians than Brits – and you’re more likely to find people speaking english there.

Location description
Our large and handsome old farmhouse is located in the mountains, in beautiful Sardinian countryside just 30 minutes drive to glorious sandy beaches. We boast views of the sea between the surrounding hills, with sunsets to savour, and the opportunity to sample the peace and simplicity of the Sardinian lifestyle – good food and wine, countryside activities, total peace … and loads of sunshine!
The local beaches are some of the best on the island, and there is a selection of coastal destinations within an hour’s drive which should keep the most dedicated of swimming fans happy. All water sports are available, diving, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing, and kite surfing. Inland there are a variety of historic towns to explore, walks, climbs and wild swimming, plus all that Sardinian food and culture to imbibe and enjoy.
For archaeological fans, there are over 28,000 bronze age Nuraghes on the island. Many can be explored, and they provide a captivating insight into life on the island 2500BC.
