Lower Leys kitchen has a charming countryside feel with wood floors, pale green wood units and classic wood beams, which nicely combine with the room's neutral décor. This bright and spacious double aspect kitchen has been finished to a high standard with a good collection of facilities for couples and families to take advantage of.
Elegant sophistication meets countryside magic in Lower Leys living room. The lounge has a nice mix of old and new with wood floors and artistic black and white photos effortlessly combining to give the Exmoor cottage lounge a modern feel.
The garden at Lower Leys is located to the front of the cottage to take advantage of the wonderful views of Exmoor. The large enclosed garden is mainly laid to lawn but is bordered by a good assortment of seasonal flowers, so expect a colourful sea of daffodils if staying over the Easter holidays.
It is a nice garden for dogs and children with plenty of room for outdoor games, and parents can relax with a glass of wine admiring the view, safe in the knowledge that it is fully fenced and away from any roads.
Lower Leys garden features a wood table with bench that allows guests to enjoy alfresco dinners and summer evening BBQ's, all with the beautiful National Park as a backdrop.

Location description
Approached by a typically bumpy country track (not suitable for vehicles with low suspensions), it is surrounded by the owners’ land, home to their animals and dogs.
There are plenty of delightful eating places within easy reach within this area of outstanding natural beauty. Rural heritage abounds, quaint cottages, winding lanes and one of the oldest bridges – Tarr Steps – within easy reach by a short car journey or for the more adventurous, a vigorous walk or cycle ride.
The River Barle and River Exe with their riverside footpaths are within walking distance, while Dunster Castle and beach are just a short drive away.
Other activities
Foxtwitchen provides the perfect base for exploring, rambling or mountain-biking.
The owners, who live in a separate part of the property, can also arrange the following activities:

Plenty to admire and do at the coastal resorts of Minehead, Porlock, Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton. Inland visit the moorland villages of Dulverton, Exford or the Saturday Panier Market in South Molton. But above all - there is Exmoor just waiting to be explored.
