Description
In the centre of Trimiklini village stands the legendary Hunter's House, the oldest stone built house in the village with a history of more than 200 years. An inherited traditional family house, has been recently restored by the owners with love, keeping its unique Cypriot architecture and style preserving many of the original features such as stone walls and floor, log fireplace, wooden beams and pottery dating since 1730.
Panoramic mountain views, quiet and peaceful location, sunny all year round, with local activities to keep you busy, including visits to wineries and vineyards, cycling, nature trails, and even skiing, during the winter months.
The cottage is located just two minutes walk from the village square and amenities, including daily fresh fruit and local produce market, coffee shops, restaurants & taverns, supermarkets, butcher, bank, hairdressing salon, petrol station and bus stop, with daily service to Limassol city and region.
Indoors:
Split into two levels, the ground floor consists of a comfortably furnished living area with a wonderful stone log fire place for romantic nights in winter time, enjoying the local wine. The dining area leads to a a fully equipped fitted kitchen, a WC-shower room and a double bedroom with views to the courtyard. The wooden stairs lead to the upper loft which consists of a large 6x4m triple bedroom with magnificent views of the Troodos mountains.
Outdoors:
A heavyweight wooden door leads to the large magnificent stone-built courtyard with its traditional Cypriot arches, filled with traditional pottery treasures. Once used for village gatherings and festivities, the courtyard is surrounded by high stone built walls ensuring complete privacy. Here you will spend moments of indescribable tranquility relaxing or sunbathing. Garden furniture, gazebo and BBQ facilities provided as well as a courtyard WC-shower room. Roof terrace with sunbeds and umbrella, offers 360 degrees panoramic views to the village, vineyards and Troodos mountains.

Location description
Trimiklinini village lies 27 km from Limassol, in the Commandaria Wine Region, amongst the greenery of vineyards and fruit plantations. Kouris - the largest river of Cyprus- runs through the village passing under the only double stone bridge of Cyprus. Trimiklini dam (the only dam of Cyprus that is always full) forms a beautiful lake where many species of birds find sanctuary. With narrow village streets, traditional stone houses and an old church dating before 1744, the village and its unique everyday market selling local traditional product is an attraction to visitors. Restaurants, fruit market, coffee shops, grocery stores, bakery, butchery, flower shops, hairdressing salon, bank and gas station are among the amenities of the village.
Limassol is the most lively and cosmopolitan resort city of Cyprus, the centre of ecstatic nightlife and jole de vivre hosting many cultural events and festivals: Carnival, Wine Festival, Beer Festival, Flower Festival, Shakespearean nights, Ancient Greek Drama Festival, Music and Dance Festivals.
