Description
Lyonesse is a traditional 'cob stone' 2 bedroom Cornish cottage, which can accommodate up to 6 people, by using the comfortable bed settee in the living room.
We chose Lyonesse Cottage as our holiday home for its great village location, charm and lovely cosy feel.
The master bedroom is simply furnished with comfortable pine double bed, chest of drawers and built in wardrobes. The second bedroom has a 'split link' king size bed, set up as twin beds.
The cosy living room has 2 settees, 1 of which is a comfortable bed settee for 2 people, Freeview TV, DVD player, and a selection of DVD's, books and games.
Fully equipped dining kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave and fridge with small freezer.
Bathroom with full size bath and electric shower.
Outside is a pretty courtyard with garden furniture.

Location description
Lyonesse cottage is situated at the centre of the friendly village of Mount Hawke, which has a great family friendly pub restaurant, hairdresser, post office, village store, florist and beauty salon, all within easy walking distance.
Mount Hawke is ideally situated just 1.5 miles from the popular 'Blue Flag' beach of Porthtowan, which can be reached by taking the pretty woodland walk through Park Shady, or a 5 minute car drive.
The cottage is situated at the heart of 'Poldark' country, and is surrounded by signs of its tin mining past.Old wheel houses and chimneys, can be seen dotting the cliffs and headlands.
The historic mining town of St Agnes and superb beach and town of Perranporth are both just a short drive or a pleasant ramble across the cliff tops.
The cottage is ideally situated close to the A30. It is approximately half way between Newquay and St Ives, making it an ideal location to explore of all of Cornwall and its beautiful beaches, rugged coastline and many attractions.
The lovely cathedral city of Truro is only a 20 minute drive and is well worth a visit.

Directions
Heading South West on the A30, take 3rd exit at Chiverton Cross roundabout - B3277 towards St Agnes. At the 2nd roundabout take the first exit sign posted Mount Hawke. Continue on this road until you reach the village. Turn right onto Shortcoss Road. Continue into Fore Street passing the Village Stores on your right and the Methodist Church on your left. Take the first left after the church into Rope Walk. Lyonesse Cottage is immediately on the left.
