Description
Very pretty 2 bedroom cottage with pool, set in the rolling Dordogne countryside. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, coffee maker, microwave etc. There is a shower room, one double bedroom (a beautiful old French bed) and one single (this bed is a small double so will fit two children or one adult). The living room is open plan with the fully fitted kitchen at one end and the living area is comfortable and cosy with a wood pellet stove for the colder months.There is WiFi, British TV, DVD player, large gas BBQ and bikes.
There is a Chemin (bridle track) right outside the cottage gate, ideal for dog walking. The garden is fully enclosed and the terrace is private and has an outdoor table and chairs.
The above ground pool is large, 26ft x 16ft, so more than big enough to swim in!
We provide a welcome pack of tea/coffee, sugar, milk, bread, eggs and cheese, plus a bottle of water and wine in case you do not get to a supermarket in time.
Please note that the property has steps and is really not suitable for the those who find them difficult or children under 4yrs. Children and dogs have to be supervised at all times. Also, if you have any animal allergies, then this is perhaps not the cottage for you.

Location description
Pretty 2 bed room cottage, with pool, set in the rolling countryside of the Dronne Valley. Close to river beaches and historic towns.
Tourist attractions
World Heritage Site of St Emillion, Brantome, Aubeterre. The Dordogne Valley and Cognac within the hour.
Directions
From the airport ,head for the market town of Riberac. The Festalemps is off the D5 between Riberac and St Aulaye.

The balance will be due six weeks before arrival.
Cancellation after this date and up to 2 weeks before arrival 50% of total will be returned . Under two weeks notice , no refund will be given unless another booking is secured and then the full amount will be returned less the 100 deposit.
