Description
3 artistically decorated studios right on the beachfront.
You open our main garden gate and in a few steps you are inside the most gorgeous waters! The property is safe with fence all around and is accessible from our guests only.
The property is ideal for couples, as well as for families with young and older children!! ....cause is right on the beachfront which makes it a lot easier and less stressful to go back from the beach to the studio and to the garden as many times as you need without any effort. During the warmer hours of the day you can cool down under our pine trees and hear the crickets.
The area is wonderful for tranquil summer holidays and relaxing on the beach, in the beautiful garden and walking along the coast or going up on footpaths in the mountain. Everything is very close.
Athens is just over an hour drive from us if you wish to visit the beautiful old town of Plaka with the Acropolis and the museum. There are also wonderful villages near Psatha that you can visit and try local fish or local free range meat from the mountains.
We do not have WIFI in our property but there is a taverna 50meters away that all our guests go and use their connection. They are very friendly and they have a great selection of beers and coffee too!!

The service provided by the owner was exemplary. Sofia provided a pick up service from the airport and returned me to Athens for the second leg of my trip. Amazing breakfasts were provided at a time of my choice and information given on neighbouring areas to visit. For a small cost Sofia provided me with transport to other areas with information given with pride and passion.
The property was spotlessly clean, quirky, with lots of interesting items dotted around the house. A real collection of artifacts. Excellent use has been made of space so whilst it is not very big, everything you need is there. Bed was very comfortable and all windows covered with mosquito blinds. There was a large patio where breakfast could be taken, in or out of the sun, depending on your choice. This overlooked a large private garden, with locking gate through which a car can be parked and very safe for children to run around. Whilst the sun is there all day there are many areas you can choose to sit and take the shade under the many Pine trees. Lovely. Also wonderful place to sit in the evening with only the sound of the waves or the breeze through the pines.
The beach is just outside the garden gate with no traffic passing to speak of. You can take your morning coffee there and take in the clear air or swim in the very clean clear waters of the Corinthian bay.
There is a promenade along the pebble beach - 2k long where there are 4/5 places to stop for a drink and eat, depending on the season. Also 2 Tavernas and a restaurant in the other direction and on the beach. All are within minutes walking distance.
However if you intend to cook meals you may want to shop in a supermarket outwith Psatha in advance. There is a small shop which opens for a short part of the day and is fine for little bits and pieces. It would be worth checking with the owner which facilities are available before travelling. In the neighbouring village of Alepochori there are a few more shops and a pharmacy. 50 minutes strolling time for me though not in a hurry. WiFi was available free at the taverna just along the beach. I would highly recommend this accommodation for solo, group and family groups.

What a fabulous place, months after returning home I still feel relaxed and have a contented smile on my face. The Studios are situated in a quiet part of Psatha beach and consists of the cutest little dolls house of an apartment with a lovely roof terrace looking out over the Gulf of Corinth and offering views of the most splendid sunsets. Behind the house are two perfect little studios in a beautifully painted and decorated mews. All of this is surrounded by an extensive gravel garden dotted with plants, artwork, mosaics, prettily coloured stone patterns and full of fabulous mature pine trees offering pools of cool shade. The most wonderful aspect of this oasis of calm and relaxation is that everywhere, inside and outside the house and studios, around the garden, in every corner of this haven of peace is Sophia's wonderful artwork and decoration. This is a truly magical place where you are constantly surprised and delighted by noticing another pretty decoration, artwork or sculpture. The most wonderful part of staying at the Studios is Sophia. She is the most wonderful, creative, hospitable, and inspiring person and it was an absolute delight to get to know her. Her knowledge and advice on local places to explore and to eat was spot on and we had a great time discovering this corner of Greece.
The Attica Region around the Gulf of Corinth is where Greece goes to holiday and relax. The waters of the Gulf are calm, crystal clear and inviting and accessible from the soft rounded pebble beaches. The wonderfully aromatic mountains that raise up from the coast are dotted with traditional villages where you can find best of local foods and produce served with a warm welcome.
This is also a good region from which to easily reach and explore Athens and the ancient sites of Corinth and Delphi. Psatha is where Athens comes to play and relax. There are no hotels or apartment blocks but there are enough beach restaurants and bars to serve the Athenians who come here in the evening and at weekends. They offer a good range of venues without being overly obtrusive in this low key and relaxing spot. There are also a handful of lovely tavernas tucked into the far end of the beach, below the lovely pine clad slopes. The best of these is Aggelos where the fish is so fresh it almost swims onto your plate. Sitting at one of the tables here looking out onto the small boats bobbing gently on the calm waters of the Gulf of Corinth is to have a little break in paradise.
