Mariner's cottage is a cosy cottage furnished to a high standard.
It has a good sized lounge, a dining kitchen, double bedroom, and separate bathroom with shower cubicle.
The lounge settee can be converted into a second double bed if required.
Bedding, linen and towels are provided.
Heating is by gas central heating plus an electric fire.
There is no additional charge for power and heating.
Children and pets welcome.

Allonby is a small village on the north west coast of Cumbria, between Maryport and Silloth, in a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty.
Allonby village is quiet, but has restaurants, takeaway and pubs.
Eating out is also available in local villages.

Location description
Mariner's cottage sleeps up to 4 persons.
Mariner's Cottage is located on the sea front in the centre of Allonby, with open views across the Solway Firth to Scotland.
The cottage also has views across open countryside to the rear.
Allonby is a small coastal village on the uncommercialized west coast of Cumbria.
The magnificent Lake District National Park is a 20 - 30 minute, very scenic drive away.
Plenty of tourist attractions, sporting activities and other entertainment is within easy reach.
Visitors can enjoy an almost empty beach - a cleanliness and safety winner - and also take advantage of windsurfing, fishing or just a stroll.
The coastal towns of Maryport, and Whitehaven with their marinas lie to the south down the coast.
The Victorian seaside village of Silloth with its excellent golf course, is only 10 minutes North of Allonby.
The historic city of Carlisle with it's castle and attractive shopping centre is within easy driving distance.
Inland from Allonby there are plenty of quiet country lanes, which can be explored, with many small villages.
Pub meals are available in some of those nearby villages.
Allonby is situated in a non-commercialized area, on the Solway coast.
The magnificent Lake District National Park is within easy reach.
Keswick is only 30 - 35 scenic miles away.
On the way to Keswick, you will pass beautiful Bassenthwaite Water, famous for it's Ospreys.
Their nest can be viewed from the Osprey viewing area situated on the North side of Bassenthwaite Water.
With coast, countryside, lakes and hills, there is something for everyone, whatever the weather!

Allonby Bay has a long sandy beech, with fine views across the Solway Estuary to the mountains of Southern Scotland.
Visitors can enjoy an almost empty beach - a cleanliness and safety winner - and also take advantage of windsurfing, fishing or just a stroll.
Ponies used to roam on the green, grazing the sea banks and roadsides.
Beach rides may still be offered, subject to the tides.

Solfest. Music festival on the Solway Firth.
By having a great line-up of bands, and making tickets some of the cheapest available for any festival, the Solfest is guaranteed to be a fantastic experience for everyone!
Bring your fancy dress for Saturday night, and of course don't forget your wellies.
Come to Solfest for a rockin' good Bank Holiday weekend every August.
