Description
In an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", Artists Cottage overlooks " one of the most beautiful bays in the world". Breathtaking ocean views with the relaxing lull of the sea washing over the shore will leave lasting memories of this very special place.
The cottage windows frame changing seascapes - fishermen, emptying their lobster pots from their small boats on a sea as smooth as glass; in summer, ocean ripples become myriads of tiny prisms refracting dazzling sunlight in all directions; in winter, wild crashing waves dramatically reminding of the Atlantics shear power and vastness. Artists, inspired, painted here.
From the pretty garden you feel you could almost reach over and touch St. Michaels Mount and paddle your feet in the bay. You can see the nearby the coastal path on its way to deserted sandy coves fringed with wild flowers, to seals loitering in the surf. You can watch the ferry boat to St. Michaels Mount collecting its passengers from the tiny harbour in the ancient town, when the causeway is covered by the tide.
