    Description

    This detached holiday pig-sty conversion has been beautifully decorated and renovated to a very high standard, and lies adjacent to our home, however is totally independent and private, with its own private garden.

    It sleeps two to five people, with a four poster bed and a sofa bed with pull out metal frame and a single z bed. We can also provide a travel cot and high chair for babies.

    We welcome guests for holidays, mini breaks, just one night, or longer term lets which will be offered at a lower rate if more than one month so please contact us for details.

    Well behaved dogs are welcome but please be aware we have chickens so bear this in mind with your dog. (There will be a small charge).

    As well as having the many features above, it is an ideal get away as we are lucky enough to be placed in beautiful peaceful surroundings in a lovely village, close to the picturesque wolds, as well as being near the capital of the wolds, Louth, which was voted Britains favourite market town by Countryfile magazine.

    We are also within a short drive of the famous Cadwell Park.

    If you are here for a romantic break and have any further requirements such as wine, flowers, chocolates etc. please let us know and we will make sure you have whatever you require and will give you a price in advance.

    An information folder, containing details of local pubs, restaurants and shops, as well as walk leaflets and brochures on places to visit can be found in your holiday cottage.

    We have two places to eat here in our village which are within walking distance. Nearest is The Millhouse Restaurant, which is a delightful thatched building with a restaurant and bar as well as outside seating. It has a varied menu and is well worth a visit. We also have The New Plough which is a typical village pub serving typical pub fayre.

    A Comfortable home from home

    We stayed at the Pigsty for 3 weeks whilst waiting for our property to go through to completion. In this time we were able to familiarise ourselves with the beautiful Lincolnshire Countryside, Wolds and Coast, taking advantage of the wonderful nearby hostelries which served locally produced food of excellent quality, or discovering other eateries of an International flavour..
    We could not have been more comfortable,or made to feel more at home. The accommodation is well laid out and very well equipped with everything you could possible need for a short or longer break. The Pigsty is situated with its own private garden space but Chris and Linze are marvelous hosts and on hand if you require any assistance, or information about the area. .
