Pet friendly Little Briar cottage also looks south over Loch Earn. The cottages are detached and sit 80m apart from each other. Both cottages look over Loch Earn to a 15th century private castle in the direction of Ben Vorlich and Stuc A Chroin Munro's. Little Briar Cottage has parking for 2 cars and a secure gated area for pets outside the front door. The sandstone paved deck is surrounded by a wooden and plastic coated wire fence with two gates. Ornamental furniture, a barbecue, chimenea, dog bowls and toys are permanently available. The kitchen area is compact and well equipped. The dining furniture is leather with a glass table and the lounge area offers a comfy leather sofa, chair and footstool. There is free satellite TV with a DVD player. Both cottages are WIFI enabled throughout and there are games, books, DVD's, and plenty of "what to do" leaflets and menu's promoting the surrounding area. The smaller cottage has 1 double and 1 twin room with one bathroom sleeping up to 3 plus 1 pet or 2 adults can bring 2 pets.

The paddock to the rear of the cottages leads to the old disused railway line, now a path way back to the village going left and it connects with the St Fillans Comrie patch going right. A style leads from the garden fence on to the path. A stream runs down one side of the 2 acre grounds that are shared with the owners 300 year old thatched cottage where Fraser and Kim, who regularly attend to the gardens, are on hand to assist you in every way that they can.

The garden on the loch is 250ft long with a slipway, jetty, summerhouse, petanque piste and 6 flag putting. Guests while staying in either of the cottages, can fish for trout free between March 15th and 6th October. A permit is only needed when fishing from a boat out on the water and fishing boats can be hired 2 miles east of the cottages. Ducks, geese, ospreys, wagtails, oyster catchers and other birds are a regular feature. There are 2 pet friendly hotels within a 200 metre stroll from the garden gates. The village store is nearer the T junction where the A85 meets the A84. Major supermarkets will deliver groceries to the cottages using postcode FK19 8PU. There is a 24 hour petrol station at Lix Toll and electric car charging points in the area as listed on Briar Cottages website.
