Riverside House is a large spacious self catering holiday cottage in Litton Mill, Derbyshire, Peak District National Park near Buxton, Bakewell, Miller's Dale and Tideswell.

Riverside House holiday cottage is located in a peaceful countryside setting, with some level walks from the doors of the house in Litton Mill in the beautiful Miller's Dale. Guests with limited mobility, however, should note that the walk along the river Wye would be unsuitable due to narrowing of path and risk of flooding in parts. There are also a number of steep walks from the property, which would be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
This Peak District holiday cottage has been restored and modernised to a high standard, with sleeping accommodation in four bedrooms and on sofa bed for up to 10 adults (one on sofa bed plus child on z-bed, young child on single chair bed and baby in cot). The holiday cottage is spacious and there is plenty of room around the furniture in the kitchen, dining room, hall and lounge. The downstairs bedroom would be suitable for people with limited mobility, and there is a shower, toilet and wash basin downstairs. The property has ample level parking via secure driveway gates and also a separate detached garaged with slight tarmac ramp up into the garage. There is one step from the main hall into the dining area, we have had a removable ramp built to make this suitable for wheelchair users. There is a flat lawned area, which is secured with wrought iron fencing and a lockable gate. However, the wild riverbank area is not suitable for people with limited mobility due to the uneven surface and being close to the river.

Our large, detached Peak District holiday cottage is in Litton Mill, near Tideswell, Derbyshire, Peak District

Close to spa town of Buxton, market town of Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Alton Towers (38 miles)
Other activities
Lots of walks from the door, including the traffic free Monsal Trail. Fishing available, rock climbing, caves nearby, golf approximately 8 miles. Tideswell School of Food is only 5 minutes drive away for a variety of cookery courses.
Local events
Local farmer's markets, Buxton craft fairs, Buxton Opera and fringe festivals, Well Dressings throughout May, June, July and August. Events during the summer at Chatsworth House.
Tourist attractions

From Tideswell take the sharp left turn at Millers Dale past the Angler's Rest pub and follow the road to Litton Mill.
