Description
You're always welcome at Hendersyde - our family farm which lies between the River Tweed and Eden Water, just over 2 miles downstream from the delightful market town of Kelso, in the heart of the Scottish Borders.
Surrounded by walks, wildlife and wonderful views, the cottages stand in blissfully peaceful spots, at the end of their own lanes, where views stretch over the valleys and to The Cheviot Hills in Northumberland!
MILLSYDE, is a very special single storey, level entry, contemporary country cottage, with lots of soothing space for six!
There is room for every-one to gather in the sociable kitchen with cooking, dining, and sitting space, as well as having more room to relax in the drawing room.
The master bed room has a luxury en-suite shower room, while the two twin/or super-king bedrooms share a bath room, with a roomy double ended bath and shower.
Solar panels help to heat the hot water, under-floor, central heating and a cosy winter wood-burner warm the house, which is tucked up in a blanket of wool insulation - so is sure to be snug through-out the year!
THE TRADITIONAL FARM COTTAGES West and East - have central heating and a cosy sitting room fire.
Each cottage sleeps 4, in a spacious twin and double bed room. We offer discounts for couples through-out the year. Awarded 4 Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, you can be confident all the cottages are all well equipped and cared for.
Each cottage has its own private, enclosed, south facing garden, with benches and garden furniture. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sights and songs of the Border countryside!
We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs in West Cottage, there is a 20 cost per dog. Other wise our prices are inclusive of fuel, linen, towels and internet access.
