    Description

    If your looking to escape with your walking boots and explore or just relax in a cosy period property, our stylish, contemporary cottage is for you. Decorated and appointed to a high standard, with an eclectic mix of furnishings, we offer accommodation for up to 4 people. John Lewis linen and towels are provided along with a starter pack of logs for the wood burning stove. Tea, sugar, fresh milk and a supply of coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. The cottage is centrally heated, with a powerful shower and hot water on demand.

    There is a stable door leading to a fenced rear garden with a secure shed for bikes and equipment. The garden is south facing and has a lovely seating area to sit and enjoy perhaps a glass of wine or a few chapters of your favourite book.

    Molly Cottage is within The Yorkshire Dales National Park, with its breathtaking limestone formations and stunning caves and waterfalls. A short distance away is Malham Cove and Malham Tarn, the show caves of Ingleborough and White Scar and for the hearty amongst you, we are perfectly placed to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside.

    The cottage is a short distance from the picturesque Settle to Carlisle Railway, a 15 minute drive takes you to Ribblehead, a fabulous example of a Victorian viaduct. From there a short drive to the vibrant market town of Hawes, home to the ‘Wallace and Gromit’ Wensleydale cheese factory. The delights of The Lake District National Park are 45 minutes away.

    You’re never short of a good meal in the eateries around Ingleton or a ten minute drive takes you to the lovely town of Kirkby Lonsdale with its gift shops, cafes and bars. Some of our favourite places to eat are listed in our guest information book.

    Coming from the North or South on the M6 exit at junction 36 and take the A65 towards Kirkby Lonsdale. At Kirkby Lonsdale follow signs for Settle and at Ingleton take the B6255 and Molly Cottage is on the left after the car park and tourist information. There is off road parking outside the cottage.
