Description
Tryst Cottage Ingleton is a stunning Visit England 4* eco friendly cottage Located within the village, you will find pubs, walks and shops minutes from the doorstep. Look at the recent comments and feedback from our guestbook entries in the photographs here and on our website. I can offer you personalised advice and information about the area so that you can tailor your holiday to suit your interests.
This traditional 1750's cottage has been carefully renovated to achieve the perfect balance of preserving classic original features together with providing for your every comfort so you can enjoy a romantic break, and / or a "get out and about" holiday where you can explore the beautiful scenery and walks.
Staying at our Visit England 4* property, you can be assured of the very high standards that will be provided for you as minimum, as the cottage undergoes regular independent inspections.
Your valuable bikes or climbing equipment can be stored in one of our locked and spacious secure stone outhouse.
Picture yourself at the end of a tremendous day out in the vibrant Yorkshire fresh air, relaxing on the comfortable premium leather sofa or chair in front of the dancing flames of the log burner whilst you enjoy the five point surround sound system and Smart TV.
On warm days and evenings you may chose which of the two outside garden areas to relax and enjoy, or you can even move between the two!
With teak garden furniture on the raised mezzanine, and bespoke benches and table around the distinctive barbecue. An array of solar lights will provide illumination for you to sit out as late as you wish on the warmest evenings.
A high quality new Rangemaster cooker, dishwasher, unlimited high speed wifi, Freesat Smart HD TV with surround sound, tumble dryer and argon gas double glazing, together with an extensively equipped kitchen and large fridge freezer are some of the items ready and waiting for you.
Large duvets, plenty of pillows and cushions are on all the beds, together with high count percale linen which compliments the style of the rooms. There is even a large wedge pillow available.
Ingleton is perfectly placed within the National Park to explore the local beautiful limestone formations, together with delightful small towns and villages within The Yorkshire Dales.
The Waterfalls Walk is award winning and listed within the countries top walks and attractions. Together with Ingleborough and Whernside which are all accessible by foot from the doorstep, you can park your car for days whilst having a wonderful holiday. Alternatively, I can advise you on some spectacular drives and places to visit further afield.
Within a thirty minute radius of Tryst Cottage, you can also access the Trough of Bowland, the Lake District and famous market towns and villages such as Malham. The Settle to Carlisle Railway runs through some of the most breathtaking scenery.
Every year when you return you will note the re-investment in the property. Nothing provided in the cottage is worn or tired, but replaced when not at its best, because that is what you deserve on your holiday.
Parking is available at the rear of the cottage but a width restriction to access this applies. Unrestricted parking is available directly outside.
In 2020/21, the cottage has been transformed into an eco friendly property with a new kitchen, new bathroom and change of central heating.
