Description
The pretty Aggie's Cottage is a quirky three bedroom cottage perfect for families or couples. Fully renovated, the former stables have a fun sense of period charm, with shabby-chic furniture cleverly blending in with painted wood beams and high vaulted ceilings.
Entered from the pretty courtyard door, the cottage is bright and welcoming. The spacious open plan living space with original Marland brick flooring is wonderfully modern without losing any of the cottage's historical magic. The up-to-date, fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need to rustle up a meal, including electric oven with grill, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.
A chunky stripped pine farmhouse table comfortably seats six and is neatly set to one side of the living area to provide a comfy place to eat for all the family. The lounge with soft rug covered floor has a large corner sofa, scattered with bright, funky cushions impeccably located for curling up and watching a film on the wall mounted flat screen TV, with separate DVD/CD player.
Two steps up from the kitchen lead to a lovely hallway with a window overlooking the courtyard and two bedrooms, which have shared access to a large travertine-tiled shower room with toilet and wash hand basin.
The first door off the hallway leads to Aggie's pretty twin bedroom with painted antique pine bedside cabinets and matching double wardrobe.

Location description
Higher Mullacott Farm is in an ideal location within easy reach of many of the North Devon attractions. Holidays here can be either incredibly relaxing or completely fun-filled you decide!
For guests that prefer to get away from it, take a long stroll along the South West Coastal footpath or explore the country landscape of the Exmoor National Park.
For family days by the sea, Woolacombe Sands is just 3 miles away - a Blue Flag beach and a surfing paradise. There are further clean and beautiful beaches at Croyde and Saunton within a 10-5 minute drive.
The Victorian town of Ilfracombe (1 mile) has an excellent choice of shops, pubs and restaurants (The Quay Restaurant and White Hart Bar along the quaint harbourside are owned by the artist Damian Hirst). Day trips to Lundy Island depart from here. A selection of deep sea fishing boats also depart from the harbour every day. A visit to the Tunnels Beach is high recommended - a special place steeped in history where four tunnels carved through the rocks in the 1820s lead you to the beach. This Blue Flag beach has a tidal pool which is popular with children who can swimming, and snorkelling in safety.
