    Situated within Gledholt, a well established area of Huddersfield close to the large and recently refurbished Greenhead Park and overlooking Gledholt Wood.     'Amazing experience'
    My husband and I stayed at Holt Bank for eight days while on holiday from the US and we couldn't have been more pleased!!! Ann and John were fantastic! They welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around the cottage. It was extremely clean and tidy, and was so warm and inviting. This was our first time in the UK and we found our stay at Holt Bank to be absolutely wonderful! We relied on public transportation, and Holt Bank was an easy walk to the train and bus stations, which are located right in the heart of the city centre. The cottage had strong wifi, which was perfect for keeping in touch with friends and family back home, and we loved watching Sky tv after a long day of exploring. What more can I say? Our stay at Holt Bank was PERFECT!!! We will definitely be back!

    'Totally at home here as soon as I arrived'
    Over the last few years I have stayed for a week in Yorkshire every summer; this is the best accommodation I have found

    Beutifully restored and furnished coach house with everything as advertised and more. The kitchen was equipped with everything I normally carry around with me and with excellent wifi and DAB radio upstairs and downstairs it was perfect for me

    Ann & John were very welcoming and had even gone to the trouble of finding out about the local cycling when they knew I was bringing a bike. As I had watched the Tour of France departing in Yorkshire this was exactly what I wanted to do on this visit

    The parquet floor in the lounge, the window frames and the fireplace theme outside are particular features of the thoughtful restoration but mostly this is just a lovely place to stay and I didn't even have time to admire the garden.

    'Super accommodation in a convenient location'
    We stayed for 6 nights in Holt Bank, a recently renovated coach house in a quiet residential area. It was warm, welcoming and very comfortable, with parking on the driveway right outside. The accommodation was spotless with a very well equipped kitchen, Virgin TV, wifi, a good selection of books etc. The location is very convenient for Huddersfield centre (15 minutes walk), local shops, the excellent nearby park and the Huddersfield ring road which will take you to all points N,E, S and W. The owners ooze northern hospitality. Holt Bank is an unusual combination - the sort of self catering accommodation you would normally expect to find in the country, only this is (almost) in the centre of town. Holt Bank will suit singles or a couple with one or two children very well indeed. We really enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending it.

    'John and Anns Coach House is fantastic'
    Very clean, warm and comfortable. Its location provided easy access to both main roads and trains and allowed us to explore both York and Manchester from it. Huddersfield was an easy walk and very nice too. John and Ann are great hosts and provided some great tips to help our stay. Highly recommended.
