Description
An old historic barn in an area of outstanding natural beauty has been converted into a tranquil holiday haven by owners Rob and Jeanette Folwell who are offering a 'get away from it all' experience. The serene location in the verdant Lincolnshire countryside is perfect for those with an interest in consrvation and nature enthusiasts, as well as those just wanting to unwind and relax in the glorious picturesque countryside surrounding our cottages. So why not treat yourself to a revitalising break in one of the fabulous, four-star, luxury cottages, we promise that you will not be disapointed.
Maggie’s Mews is a spacious luxury self catering cottage, in the Lincolnshire Wolds near Horncastle sleeping 4 people in two bedrooms. This cottage has fantastic views of the surrounding scenic countryside for all its windows.
There are two modern leather sofas and a large wall mounted TV and DVD player in the spacious living area. The kitchen-diner is ver well equipped with integrated appliances and accessories including a kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge-freezer. The kitchen is stocked with high quality utensils and pure white porcelain crockery.
The large master bedroom is on the upper floor and has a super-king sized double bed (6ft wide). It has a sizeable luxury en suite bathroom featuring an extra large, whirlpool bath and separate shower plus a hand basin and WC. The second bedroom is on the ground floor and has twin single beds (3ft wide), with a luxury en-suite shower room, hand basin and WC.

Location description
Greetham Retreat is located in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB). We have no near neighbours and are situated over 100 metres above sea level with views of over 20 miles across glorious rural countryside. However, it is just 3 miles to the nearest market towm of Horncastle. We are open all year round and our road is on a local council gritting route. The holiday cottages have access to over 4 acres of private parkland grounds with wildlife ponds, woodland and wildflower meadows.
Local events
Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival in May each year has over 200 outdoor events for participation like guided walks, archery, canoeing, nature trails etc
Tourist attractions
Aviation Heritage Museums, National Trust, Seaside resorts with sandy beaches nearby.

* Make your way to the A158 near Horncastle in Lincolnshire.
* Leave Horncastle towards Skegness on the A158, at first junction (immediately after the 50mph
speed limit signs) turn left off the A158, in the village of High Toynton.
OR
* If travelling in the opposite direction on the A158, turn right in the village of High Toynton
opposite the church.
* Continue along this road (Tetford Road) for about 2 miles until you reach a crossroads junction.
(Greetham village to the right)
* At these crossroads go straight across and continue for a further 300 metres.
* Greetham Retreat is the third property on your left about 100 metres past a left hand bend.
