Description
Our cosy holiday home Gite La Grenouille has a occupancy of 2-4 p.(adults only > 16). It is surrounded by forests and meadows and on only 3 km from the beautiful village Hautefort. It is the place to be if you want to have a real relaxing holiday. The gite has its private entrance, terrace, garden and parking. Beautiful views over the surrounding countryside to the pool and the Chateau of Hautefort.
Gite la Grenouille is cosy, comfortable and equipped with all modern comfort – a kitchen corner (micro-wave / grill, fridge/freezer, cooker, hood, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster), a lounge with satelite TV/DVD, radio/CD, bathroom with shower, hand basin and toilet. On the first floor there are two bedrooms – one with a double bed (sized 160 x 200cm) and one with two single beds (each 80 x 200cm). Both bedrooms have fly screens. The holiday house can be rented all year round.

• There is a bistro with small library and tourist information. We serve here several times a week meals / table d'hote.
• In high season a daily bread and newspaper service
• The swimming pool, washing machine and tumble dryer are in common use with the small campsite. The campsite has only 8 pitches and is also ADULTS ONLY. So that means that even in high season you often have the pool all for your self. The pool is open from beginning of May until mid-September. There is a large terrace around the pool with sunloungers, parasols and a solar shower.
• Minimum stay is a week (Saturday – Saturday) though other lengths of stay or arrival/departure days can be arranged (subject to availability). For all bookings: arrival after 16.00h and departure before 10.00h.

Location description
La Grenouille Vacances is situated on a plateau in the countryside with forests and meadows in the Périgord There is a fabulous variety of plants and animals in this region. Deer are regular grazers on our land whilst on starry nights you can be serenaded by the frogs' chorus or the hooting of owls. Pure nature – healthy, fresh air mixed with the spicy smell of a rich flora - a place to relax away from the activity of the modern world and recharge your batteries.
A little holiday paradise in the middle of nature - though you won't need to miss the modern world as there is a WIFI internet connection. Hautefort, where you can do all your shopping and where there are several restaurants, is only 3km away. Theatre, concerts, markets in picturesque villages or walking trails (120 km of walking trails, some directly starting from our campsite), it is all available within the area. Whether you are looking for rest, space, nature, sport or culture, La Grenouille Vacances is the perfect place to spend your holidays.

There is a beautiful clean lake with a huge beach and all sorts of water sport on only 20km. Entrance is for free.
