A Very Special Place to Stay in Normandy, France, Le Gaillon is totally private, with outstanding views over beautiful countryside. It is so peaceful, you will be able to forget the hustle and bustle of life and just enjoy being totally by yourselves with nobody else around. This is our very comfortable, well-loved holiday home and it has been furnished to a high standard with a mix of period furniture, comfortable squashy sofas, large rugs and original stone floors.
We do everything we can to ensure that you will have a fantastic holiday. As one of our recent guests remarked: “Can life get any better?”
Le Gaillon sleeps a maximum of 6 adults OR 4 adults + 4 children.
It is very spacious (150m2) and has been furnished to a very high standard of comfort. All rooms overlook the garden and those upstairs have breathtaking views to the distant Foret de Lyons.
The stone construction of the house means that it remains lovely and cool in the summer months, yet retains the heat in the winter to keep it nice and cosy. There are two fireplaces -a large inglenook open fire in the living room, and a glass-fronted woodburning stove in the kitchen, which is vented in the chimney to provide extra heat in both the dining room and upstairs bedrooms. In addition there are electric radiators in all the rooms.

Location description
The Pays de Bray is a truly beautiful part of Normandy: lush undulating farmland, green fields, lazy cows, apple orchards, and up by the sea the rugged white cliffs of the Alabaster coast… We have found that the house and grounds are such a wonderful place to just chill-out and recharge our batteries, whatever the weather, that we tend not to stray very far.
But there is plenty to do and see in the region, should you wish to explore.

Security deposit of 250€ payable no later than 2 weeks in advance of arrival to cover accidental damage during the rental period. This is fully refundable provided there are no losses or damage incurred.
We charge a single fee of 50€ Euros to ensure that the house is cleaned after each guest leaves, unless you prefer to do so yourselves.
