Description
Our cottage is located in the old part of town of Dassel. It was established 200 years ago on the foundation walls of an old city wall tower and renovated completely in 2005. Here you can enjoy a romantic vacation with old oak bars in a comfortable atmosphere. It offers today place for five persons. It has a dining-room with chimney oven, a completely furnished kitchen with dishwasher, two bedrooms, a living room and a new bath with shower. The house in wood timbered construction is located in a calm side street and has a parking lot in front of the house the house.
The city Dassel is at the edge of the mountain range Solling Voglers. The city received 1350 municipal rights and was covered by a town wall. The house is in the wall on the foundation one of the seven old towers. Today Dassel is a contemplative town. Purchase possibilities are present at the place. In the city the technique museum loads blank blankschmiede and in the future a museum to the county Dassel to the attendance in.
In the summer the surroundings offers many opportunities for walking. 400 km proven Mountainbike trails of different degrees of difficulty invite for biking. In the winter there are built tracks for cross country skiing and also many possibilities to go sledding for the children.

Location description
Dassel is a quite old town directly at the edge of the Solling, a wide forrest where hiking or mountainbiking is fabulous. You will hardly meet anyone, you can visit quite villages in the forrest valleys. If you like to visit historic places Einbeck is 12 km away. Göttingen, the old university town is 35 km away. The weser area is the home of the brother Grimm. Go and visit the historic castle of the sleeping beauty (Sababurg), the seven hills of snow-white (Sieben Berge at Alfeld) or the home of Muenchhausen. Hameln, the home of the piper is 40 km away.

Directions
The most suitable transportation in the Weser Mountains is the car. Public transport is not very frequent and distances are long. When coming by car the best way is to use Autobahn A7 and take the exit Northeim Nord in the direction of Einbeck. After around 25 km you reach Dassel.
