Location description
Located in a largely unspoilt area of Lucca in Northern Tuscany.
Garfagnana is known as the 'Heart of Tuscany', an area of natural beauty, offering breathtaking landscapes, history, and a way of life that is steeped in tradition.
There are no hordes of tourists here, just friendly local people and visitors who appreciate the area, and where you can sample and enjoy the local cuisine and customs.

Pisa Airport has a wide range of car hire firms.
From Pisa take the A12/A11 to Lucca, through Lucca to Garfagnana via the SP2 to Ghivizzano, then up the hill to Gromignana. (Full directions will be provided).
