The Nest is a tiny little cottage nestled in the North Yorkshire moors National Park on Primrose hill just a short drive or train ride to the sea. Newly refurbished with the help of designer Susie Watsons furnishings we hope we have everything you need, WiFi, powerful shower, Egyptian cotton bedding and large towels,tasteful welcome pack for you and your pooches and central heating and a log burner and fairy lights for cosy nights in. We accept two dogs here. The village of Castleton provides .1/ fabulous tea room for a cracking breakfast or afternoon tea .2/ a great Deli for the little treats. 3/ a tiny shop for the essentials especially wine . 4/ Two fabulous pubs both dog friendly and both do fabulous food, one is fine dining and expects to have its first Michelin star very shortly. 5/ a tiny station to take you to Whitby , York or the steam railway which will take you to Goathland and Heartbeats Aidensfield, This is not just any holiday cottage this is our home and we hope you will love it just as much as we do and also our past guests do.

Location description
Set In the North Yorkshire moors there walks from every direction outside your front door, The seaside village of Sandsend is only a few miles away, if you want fish and chips then Whitby is youre place.York is about 3/4 of an hours drive.
There is plenty to do here, or if you prefer then just light the fire and curl up on the couch and read a good book.

Come off A1M to thirsk, keep going along the road towards Scarborough , eventually you come to Kirby Moor side, just after the tomn you will see a turn on the left to Hutton le hole and Castleton, this takes you across the moors with spectaculor views to Castleton, the cottage is infront of you opposite the downe arms
