Garden Cottage is a modern holiday cottage situated in the village of Swaffham Prior. It is only four miles from Newmarket, the horse racing headquarters of Britain and only nine miles from the historic city of Cambridge.
The cottage has two bedrooms, a king size double, a twin and one small extra bed. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave and a cooker. The bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment. In the lounge there is a flat screen HD TV with a basic Sky Television package and a multi-fuel fire. French doors lead out from the lounge to a secluded garden at the back, where there is patio furniture for outdoor seating.
Swaffham Prior is situated 8 miles from Cambridge, 5 miles from Newmarket and 12 miles from Ely. The village is serviced by a number 10 bus to Cambridge that runs every hour. There is a nice pub that serves food – The Red Lion. There are many historic houses in the village and is known locally for having two churches in one church yard.
There is a shared parking area that it is away from the road, it can accommodate up to 2 cars.
