Nestled in the quiet back lanes of Braunton in North Devon is the quaint two bedroom barn conversion, Kittiwake Cottage. This immaculately decorated and well-equipped cottage has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard to guarantee its guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing break in this stunning area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The high-spec barn conversion comfortably accommodates up to four in two bedrooms, a good sized double with French style bed, and a flexible double/twin with handy zip and link beds. Both bedrooms have wonderful en-suite bathrooms that feature fired earth tiles and antique washstands.
Downstairs in the light and spacious cottage is a large open plan living area that has a gorgeous lounge with comfy sofa and armchair, as well as double doors opening out onto a Juliette balcony. There is also a well-equipped kitchen complete with integrated appliances and a Nespresso coffee machine, and finally, a dining table suitable for all occasions.
Kittiwake has been beautifully decorated throughout in tasteful shades of blue, effortlessly complimenting the cottage's contemporary appearance and stylish furniture.
Outside, guests can take advantage of almost an acre of grounds featuring an apple orchard, a courtyard terrace and an abundance of secluded places to enjoy a picnic or play games. Walk to the garden's boundary and you will soon discover the village's small river.
Kittiwake Cottage is ideally located for exploring the North Devon coast. Braunton itself is a hive of activity, with various small shops to browse in and several restaurants to enjoy evening meals.
