    Description

    The Granary gives spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests over 2 floors.
    One entire side of the ground floor is glazed, giving lots of natural light. The barn's character has been maintained, with exposed stone wall and timbers. Bedroom 1 sleeps 2 in one 5ft double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and a bunk bed. Bathroom is off the upstairs landing and has both bath and shower.

    The living area downstairs is very generously sized. The dining area in the kitchen seats 6 around a pine table. Glazed doors from the living room and kitchen lead out onto a patio area. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV with DVD, ironing board, duvets, bed linen, towels, tea towels, tea & coffee, full english breakfast pack, heating etc all included in the price. Wi-Fi included.

    Meadow View gives accommodation for up to 4 guests on one level. Bedroom 1 sleeps 2 in one 5ft double bed. Bedroom 2 sleeps 2 in two single beds.
    Meadow View provides disabled friendly accommodation.
    Short lets are available all year round - on a weekly basis, or for a minimum of a 3 night stay.

    Daw Street Farm is ideally positioned for a peaceful break, but benefits from being within easy reach of Stansted airport, and fast trains to London. Finchingfield is just one of the many picturesque villages to explore in North Essex, and there are many historic towns to visit, with their antique fairs and markets.

    Directions

    Directions From M11 at Stansted
    Take Junction 8A (Stansted Airport) on M11 A120(E) towards Stansted Airport and Colchester. Follow the A120 past Stansted Airport. Take next left off A120 (B1256) Gt. Dunmow. Follow road to Gt. Dunmow.

    At edge of Gt. Dunmow (with Tescos on the left hand side), go straight over the roundabout. At the next roundabout take the first left into Gt. Dunmow. At the next mini-roundabout take a left turn onto B184 (Thaxted) along Rosemary Lane.

    At the bottom of the hill take left at the mini-roundabout (B184) Thaxted. First right onto B1057 Gt. Bardfield and Finchingfield. Follow the road to Gt. Bardfield (6 miles). Into Gt. Bardfield follow on to T junction. Take left turn signposted Finchingfield. Follow this road for two miles into Finchingfield. Over the bridge uphill next right into Vicarage road 1 mile along there.

    After Vicarage road for 1 mile you come to a grass triangle bear right down the hill and the holiday lets are on the right just past main farmhouse, parking in the main farm yard on gravel drive near tennis court. All signposted.
