    Description

    Enjoy luxury accommodation in an unrivalled location. Situated on a private marina yet only a short lakeside walk to Bowness-on-Windermere the Tarn Cottage is a two bedroom property sleeping up to 6 guests.

    The first floor living accommodation and balcony benefit from spectacular views across the moored boats to the fells beyond.

    The double bedroom, large enough to accommodate a cot if necessary, has an en-suite shower room. If required, the twin beds in the second bedroom can be converted to a double just let us know when you book.

    The Tarn Cottage is extremely well equipped. All linen and towels are included in the price. You can also enjoy use of a local leisure club and spa; which is less than half a mile up the road.

    •Leave M6 Motorway at Junction 36.
    •Keep to Left hand lane and follow A590 to Kendal.
    •Continue along the A590 (which becomes the A591) for several miles.
    •At roundabout take first exit onto B5284 (Crook Road) signed Hawkshead via Ferry.
    •At the end of the B5284 turn left and immediately right into Longtail Hill, signed Hawkshead via Ferry.
    •At the bottom of Longtail Hill you will see the Marina through the trees. To find the entrance turn left onto the A592 and after 100 metres turn right into Windermere Marina Village.
    •Reception is located in the Marina Centre, immediately in front of the entrance.
