Description
Copper Kettle Cottage is a delightful 3-bedroom farmhouse cottage on the edge of Exmoor, North Devon.
On entering the cottage you are welcomed to the neutral blue tones of the kitchen, offering a contemporary twist on a traditional and homely room. The kitchen is equipped with modern built-in appliances so you can cook the wildest of meals!
The main dining area/living room is downstairs which is full of comfortable sofas and cushions. There is a TV with DVD player and plenty of board games too to keep everyone entertained. At one side of the spacious living room sits the dining table that comfortably seats six people. The living room also has a cast iron log burner, and theres a huge supply of logs to burn so dont worry about buying your own!
There are 3 bedrooms in Copper Kettle upstairs: a twin room, double room and a single room which includes a pullout bed for a sixth guest. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and are accompanied by a large family bathroom that contains a walk-in shower and family sized bath. Towels, beach towels, tea towels, bed linen and environmentally friendly cleaning products are also provided, free of charge.
Outside the front of the cottage is a large lawn and seating area. The Farm also has a flat acre field, which is host to some great football matches! We put a scrummy seasonal welcome pack in the cottage for your arrival, normally a home cooked cake, tea, coffee and sugar, organic milk, and some local Scrumpy Cider and seasonal vegetables pulled that morning from our vegetable garden. Eggs are always available, collect your own, and just visit the Hen House.

Location description
An ancient rural parish, Brayford lies amidst the greenery of North Devon. Just shy of the Atlantic coast, Brayford is in a lovely situation for a family holiday combining moorland and beach. Brayford offers some delightful cottages for families and friends looking to retreat to the hills for a holiday amidst some truely beautiful and wild countryside.
Walk the dogs through Brayford's woods or barefoot paddle in the meandering River Bray as it chuckles its way down from Exmoor. A few miles outside the village as you head up onto Exmoor is The Poltimore Arms, the last pub in England still not connected to the National Grid - which hasn't stopped its charasmatic landlord from serving up some wonderful local real ales and no-nonsense pub food in a bar unchanged for decades.
