Stone-built cottage in idyllic walking/cycling country, village pub 1m, River Breamish m, Alnwick 9m. Inglenook fireplace, log burning stove (all logs included in rental) original features. Accomodates 4/5 adults confortably, 5/6 inc small children. A perfect get a way for a romantic break, family holiday or an energetic walking/cycling holiday. Unlike other properties we provide, amongst other things:

There is an attractive grassy playground with flying fox 1m away, gently banked river half mile walk along lane towards ford, farm animals all around, gentle hill walks, bluebell wood short drive away. In Alnwick (9m) large indoor soft play/activity centre, swimming pool, Alnwick Castle (Harry Potter) and gardens (giant treehouse and fountain play area). Castles gallore, steam railway (Etal), sandy beaches, Holy Island, all within 1 hours drive. National Park Centre offers pond dips, trails -2m.
Other notes for parents
Blackout curtains are provided in the small third bedroom for babies. Cupboards can be secured closed and things kept easily out of reach where necessary! Fully secure fireguard available for log burning stove.Twins? no problem! - we can double up on many items.
