Description
Domaine de La Prade, built around 1830, is the main residence of La Prade and is set in its' own 19 acre estate of parkland and wooded walkways. The quality of furnishings and fittings is of the highest standard to provide you with every comfort for the perfect holiday.
The West Wing is one of 3 gites on the property (there is also the East Wing ref:10398 & The Cottage ref:10401) and is a fully self contained wing of the main house with private entrances and private terrace. It has 3 bedrooms for up to 6 guests and comprises the following:
Ground floor: Separate kitchen fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven & hob, microwave etc.
Very spacious lounge/diner (approx. 60 sq.m) with some original exposed stone walls and beautiful open fireplace with marble surround, tastefully furnished with sofas, chairs, tables etc. for 6 people & CD/Radio/Cassette. Double French windows lead to a private terrace with furniture & barbecue and views over the park.
First floor: The Master bedroom has a king size bed and the other two bedrooms are twin bedded. All are elegantly furnished in keeping with the style of the house. A bathroom with bath, hand shower, washbasin and toilet and a separate large shower room with power shower, washbasin and toilet complete the accommodation.
The private parkland estate has a large swimming pool (12m x 6m), a full size tennis court, badminton, table tennis, table football and boules for our guests to enjoy as well as the tranquility of shaded tree lined walks or gentle strolls.

Location description
Domaine de La Prade is ideally situated for exploring the local region with its' medieval towns, abbeys, Cathar castles and the magnificent restored Cité of Carcassonne. There are also nearby lakes, Lac Saint Ferreol being one, with wooded walks and beaches as well as the Mediterranean beaches, the nearest being at Narbonne some 50 minutes away. With numerous vineyards and restaurants to visit in the area you can enjoy delicious local foods and wines or simply spend some time relaxing by the pool on our parkland estate.

Directions
Flying: From the UK; Ryanair from various UK and Eire airports into Carcassonne; Stansted/Gatwick/Bristol to Toulouse with easyjet; BA from Gatwick to Toulouse. Other carriers also fly into Toulouse from across Europe & the UK.
Driving: Exit the A61 autoroute at Sortie 22 (Bram). At the roundabout take the 3rd exit - direction Villasavary. Follow this road (D218) for 5.5kms to the 2nd small crossroads - turn left onto D371. After 150 metres large gates on the left opposite a lone tree. Welcome to Domaine de La Prade!
