    Description

    The Willow 10 Chalet will sleep a maximum of seven people. On entering the chalet through the extra wide front door, the visitor will find themselves in a spacious dining area which holds a table and 6 chairs. To the left of this is the lounge which is furnished and includes a portable hoist, riser/recliner chair and sofa bed. At the rear of the lounge area is a spacious kitchen offering the usual work top space, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing
    machine.

    The kitchen to hall doorway has been widened to allow wheelchair turning space.

    At the rear of the chalet, what were 2 bedrooms have now been converted into one large room with dividing doors for privacy. The left hand side of the room has been created with those who have a disability in mind. The fully adjustable bed fits nicely on the left hand side of this room and is within easy access of the fully adapted wet room. An electric ceiling hoist has been installed and will allow carers to move clients from bed to either the shower area or Closimat toilet. This room also has a shelved cupboard which is ideal for storing items such as medicines etc.. The right hand side of this room contains one double bed, large set of drawers , bedside table and 3 wardrobes.

    Off the hallway there is a single bedroom with adult size bunk beds and a standard bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, WC and sink.

    There is tarmac parking for 2 cars and a ramp provides access to the chalet.

    Location description

    Tralee Bay Holiday Park is in a great location on the west coast of Scotland. A wonderful rural spot next to a sandy beach. 3 miles from Connel bridge on the A828 is the village of Benderloch. The site is 8 miles from Oban in the West Highlands.

    Directions

    Directions from the South
    From Glasgow head for the Erskine bridge on the M8. Look for signs heading to Dumbarton or Crianlarich, As you exit Dumbarton follow signs for Crianlarich, After 40 miles in the village of Crianlarich turn left heading for Tyndrum, you will see signs for Oban from this point. As you exit Tyndrum follow the sign for Oban, You have 30 miles to go. After 20 miles still following signs for Oban you will be getting close to the village of Connel. A good land mark will be Connel bridge. You need to go over the bidge. To do this, drive under it and then turn left following signs for Fort William. Three miles after the bridge you will arrive in Benderloch. Drive through and turn left just before the School heading down a very straight half mile long road with passing places. Tralee Bay is at the Bottom on the left.

    Directions from the North
    From Inverness, travel the A82 heading for Fort William. Pass through Fort William and pick up the signs for Oban. Follow the Oban road A828 which will take you to Benderloch. Not far into Benderloch, the very straight half mile long road with passing places will be on your right hand side.

    Sat Nav users
    Post Code PA37 1QR will direct you to the Church in the village not to the park. From the North turn right as you enter the village of Benderloch just after the school. From the South turn left as you exit the village before the school.

    Train
    By rail, the journey takes you along the world-famous West Highland Line. First ScotRail runs trains three times a day from

    Air
    Flying to Glasgow or Edinburgh is easy. Both airports are served by all the major, and many of the minor, UK airlines. This provides plenty of flights to choose from with bargain rates. In addition to being busy domestic airports both Glasgow and Edinburgh receive daily scheduled flights from Europe. Glasgow also boasts direct flights to and from the United States.You can also fly to Oban directly by private charter flight to Oban Airport at North Connel.

    Glasgow is the nearest large airport to Oban and is approximately 90 miles away. There are good links from the airport to the train and bus terminals in the city.
