Description
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION is everything with Chalet Jirishanca. This is our new 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom 14 Person luxury catered chalet in central Morzine featuring a large OUTDOOR HOT TUB, fabulous views and a modern contemporary interior.
Chalet Jirishanca is situated within a stones throw of the Super Morzine Telecabine, which is right in the centre of Morzine. With quick access to the ski lifts and a huge selection of local bars and restaurants on the doorstep, you wont need to stay anywhere else.
The Chalet is split into 6 different levels, each one effectively having its own specific function. There is a separate kitchen and dining area, large lounge space with plenty of seating for 14 on designer sofas and poufs. The overall feel is cow hides, “brosse chauff bois”, contemporary oak furniture, stunning cylindrical log burning fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, ambient designer “artichoke” lighting and plenty of communal space for everyone. The chalet is spacious and sociable at the same time.
Luxury Ensuite Bedrooms
Chalet Jirishanca features 7 luxury ensuite bedrooms, all of which can be configured as doubles or twins. There are no shared bathrooms – everything is ensuite. All 7 luxury bedrooms are situated at different levels in the chalet and are cosy and comfortable. They are not gigantic, but some are larger than others and are well proportioned and sound insulated. We have chosen not to include large cumbersome wardrobes in an effort to create more space. Instead we feature open hanging spaces in every room and large chests of drawers for storage of all your ski gear.
All our bedrooms are equipped with Designer Cushions and Throws, thick Fluffy Towels, luxury L’Occitane Toiletries, Waffle Bath Robes, crisp white Egyptian Cotton “White Company” style linen, 2 pillows per person and hollow fibre hypo-allergenic quilts. Two of the ensuite bathrooms have baths with power showers, the rest feature wet room style individual walk in power showers, designer bathroom fittings and heated towel rails.
Each room can be configured as a Twin or King Size Double with no gaps – we insist on using luxury mattress toppers. You just tell us what you want. We also have one room which can sleep 3 people and is configured as a triple with a double bed and single.
Contemporary Design and Designer Touches
Chalet Jirishanca is modern, open and spacious and is flooded with natural light, due to the large number of windows. It really is a huge chalet for 14 people and the split level design makes it feel spacious yet still very cosy. We have paid particular attention this time round to adding a few designer touches like Corbusier Loungers and Eames Dining Chairs, cow hide rugs and designer lighting.
Enjoy the views of the torchlit descent from the hot tub. You can view the Pleney pistes from the Lounge area and soak up the warm glow from the central Log Burning Fireplace. There are plenty of comfy squashy sofas, ideal if you want to kick back with a beer or glass of wine and relax after a hard day on the slopes. Watch some UK satellite TV or DVDs on our Huge Flatscreen TV, check your emails on our iPAD with our Free WiFi or head up to the mezzanine for a spot of XBOX 360 Kinect or Wii with your mates. The mezzanine is a separate lounge in itself with an additional TV with FreeSat and serves as a great games and XBOX area for the kids – BIG and small!
Eat in style in our sociable dining room area, which comfortably seats 14 around the solid oak dining table and the ergonomic Eames DSR dining chairs provide a comfy seat for a night of good conversation and plenty of free flowing wine. Enjoy a glass of vino with your hosts, or a pre dinner drink from the honesty bar as they prepare your delicious 4 course evening meal for you. Our staff are only too happy to natter about your day spent on the mountain!
Chalet Jirishnca Location
Chalet Jirishanca is located in the centre of Morzine, approximately 2 minutes walk from the entrance to the Super Morzine Telecabine. It is close to the famous Coup Du Coeur Wine Bar, La Chaudanne, Tyrolien and Chamade Restauraunts and also within a short walk of the Tourist office, Ice Rink and Pleney Telecabine. Staggering back after a few beers is made very easy as it is all on the flat but far enough away from the busy late night bar area of the town centre to be noisy. The location is perfect.
The chalet is also close to the free ski shuttle bus routes which access the main High Speed Gondolas to Prodains Avoriaz & Ardent and Nyon/Les Gets SKi Area telecabines so getting around the town is made easy.
