Chalet "Altitude 1600" is a luxury chalet situated at the very heart of "Les 4 Vallées", one of the world's largest ski resorts with 412km of slopes and 92 lifts, and is one of only seven ski areas worldwide to hold a 5-star excellence rating.
Chalet "Altitude 1600" offers a 180° stunning view of the Rhone Valley and sights of the Diablerets Glacier and Crans-Montana. It is located in a tranquil location and provides exceptional comfort, sleeps up to 16 guests, and is equipped with a private indoor hammam and outdoor jacuzzi.
Being right on the slopes, it's ski-in, ski-out ! Making it the ideal choice for your ski and trekking holidays.
For your best comfort, the Chalet is operated by "Alpine Comfort", a recognized luxury chalet operator experienced in serving families, group of friends and corporate clients. The team is having many years of experience in the tourism industry and for the last 8 years has made Haute-Nendaz, their home.
Changeover day: Saturday on Christmas/New Year. Other arrangements can be discussed on demand, subject to availability.

Location description
The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region
The Swiss alps, and here more particularly the Valais region, are amazing for both winter and summer holidays, with breath-taking views on mountains reaching up to 4000m and the Rhone Valley. The Valais also enjoys a rich culture of wine making with thousands of local producers and an enjoyable climate with 300 days of sun per year. The lake of Geneva is only 40 min away. Zurich and Milan are easily accessible by car and by train.
Additionally to providing world class skiing in winter there are a couple of great activities in Summer.
One can enjoy the famous golf course in Cran-Montana where the Omega world tour takes place. The largest Swiss Theme Park is located in Valais only 30 min away from Nendaz.
The Nendaz / Haute Nendaz area
Situated in the Valais, at the heart of the Swiss Alps, just south of the town of Sion, Nendaz encompasses 16 small mountain villages, for a total of around 5'500 inhabitants.
At the center of the "4 vallées" ski area, one of the world's largest ski areas, with 412 km of slopes and 92 lifts, Nendaz offers fantastic ski and mountaineering opportunities, as well as breathtaking views of the Rhône valley and of the highest summits in the Alps, such as the Matterhorn (4478 m) and the Mont-Blanc (4808 m).
The ski resort of Haute-Nendaz is located on a plateau at an altitude of 1400m. Located in the sunniest region of Switzerland, Nendaz enjoys a great climate, providing for fabulous snow in the winter season and for very pleasant summers.

Directions
By car:
Nendaz can be reached by motorway via Sion (15km). Exit Sion-Ouest towards Nendaz, it takes about 15 min to reach Nendaz.
Caution! We recommend that you follow the main road from the A9 motorway exit to Nendaz and not to follow the GPS instructions for the shortest route ! As it will indicate the shortest route which might take you through very narrow and steep roads, which is especially not advisable during winter.
In winter: Parking slots are available for the chalet right next to the ski slope. A transportation service is organized between the parking and the chalet upon arrival and departure. Additional transportation available on request.
In summer: Parking places are available right at the chalet.
By plane:
Geneva airport is the closest major international airport and about 1.45 hrs away from Nendaz. Carhire's are easily accessible in the airport, early booking is recommended in winter.
Additionally, in winter, flights can be organized from London to Sion operated by Snowjet, http://www.snowjet.co.uk/
Zurich Airport is slightly further away (285km) with a 2.30 hour transfer (by car hire or by train).
By train & bus:
There is a direct train service from Geneve Airport to Sion running roughly every 30 minutes and takes 1:40 minutes.
A bus service runs seven times daily from the station in Sion to Nendaz, approximately 10CHF

You can get a taxi from Sion (about 60CHF) train station or Airport or from Nendaz center. It is strongly recommended to book the taxi a couple hours in advance

What the reservation includes:
1. Amenities
-Beds are prepared before your arrival.
-Linen and household supplies.

-Firewood for the open fireplace.
-High chair and baby cot.
-Use of all the amenities provided in the chalet (Outdoor Gas BBQ, Hammam, Jacuzzi, Washing machines, Dryers, Kitchen and its appliances, Cable TV, Boot Warmer).
2. Cleaning
-Midweek 4h clean (Winter Only).
-End of week/or stay full chalet, linen & towels clean.
3. Parking & Chalet Access
-5 parking spaces at the chalet.
-Parking spaces at the parking ‘Les Clèves’ (Snow Season).
-Arrival and Departure transport in a Polaris Ranger from/to the parking ‘Les Clèves’ to/from the chalet Altitude 1600 (Snow Season).
-3 transport trips per week of stay in a Polaris Ranger from the parking ‘Les Clèves’ to the chalet (Snow Season).
4. Not Included
Security/Breakage deposit.
Optional supplementary services*:
-Access to the ‘Grand Crus Wine Cellar’ (deposit required – consumption not included).
-Consumption of wines in both wine cellars, including Cave Fin Bec Valaisan wines.
-Midweek change of bed sheets and linen (on request).
-All other activities.
Payment terms.
-A 30% non refundable deposit along with a signed rental agreement is to be received to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance (70%) is due 56 days prior to arrival date at the latest.
Damage deposit.
A 3200 CHF Damage Deposit is required. The 3200 CHF will be refunded 2 days after checkout if there is no damage or excessive cleaning fees.
Additional :
The local tourist taxes per person per night of stay is required:
-CHF 2.50 per adult,
-CHF1.50 per child younger than 12 years old
Cancellations.
You have the right to cancel your reservation. Payments will be refunded as follows:
-70% if cancelled more than 56 days prior to the check-in date
-50% if cancelled more than 30 days prior to the check-in date
-No refunds for cancellation less than 30 days prior to the check-in date or after arrival.
-Check-in/check-out. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. check-out time is 10:00 a.m. --
