A charming, home from home, Heidi ski in ski out chalet with a hot tub, sauna, log fire & large private garden.
This charming chalet is situated at an altitude of 1275m, high above the Chamonix valley and overlooking the village of Les Houches.
The chalet enjoys some of the best views in the valley; and there is not only a large sunny balcony from which to enjoy them, but enormous floor to ceiling windows with sun streaming through.
Chalet Schuss has also been newly renovated and sleeps 9 in four en suite bedrooms and one spare single bedroom. The chalet has an open plan sitting and dining area providing ample space for relaxing in front of a roaring log fire and a separate TV and games room.
The chalet is also approached through its own woodland and has a sauna and an outdoor hot tub, making it the idyllic holiday getaway.

Location description
Chalet Schuss stands by the side of the legendary Kandahar piste - part of the mens world cup downhill - thus offering the luxury of true ski in ski out convenience, which is extremely rare in Chamonix.
Chamonix is world renowned as the skiing and climbing capital of the world. It hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924 and since then has been a centre for extreme sports in both summer and winter.
But Chamonix offers far more to you than extreme sports. Sitting at the base of the majestic Mont Blanc (Europe's highest mountain) it is an area of outstanding natural beauty with an elegant and cosmopolitan town centre to couple with its internationally renowned ski area.

Here are the directions to Chalet Schuss from Geneva Airport: (Just in case you have a sat nav, do not rely on it once you come into Les Houches as it takes you up a path that only bikes can get up!)
(Chalet Schuss, 26 Route du Col de Voza, 74310 Les Houches, France).
From Geneva airport, follow the signs for FRANCE, and join the autoroute A1/E25/E62
After 7 KM you enter France. Following signs for Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, join the autoroute A40
Take the autoroute A40 for approx 65kms - two tolls (1.60 near Bonneville, 3.50 near Cluses)
After Sallanches, the autoroute A40 ends and becomes the N205
This takes a sharp left bend under a bridge, before rising up the Viaduc des Egratz Pass through two tunnels. 10KM
Immediately after the second tunnel, take the next exit on the right, signposted "Les Houches"
Turn right after the deceleration lane, and ascend this road into Les Houches - Routes des Trabets 240 metres
Turn right at the Bellevue lift station - Rue de Bellevue - Follow under the bridge for 690 metres
Go past the Prarion lift station on your left
Take the second exit on the roundabout - Route des Chavants - Follow the Route des Chavants to the left at the first hairpin bend
Follow the road up the hill past a series of hairpin bends Turn left at the pylon - Route des Aillouds
Continue for approximately km
Turn left at the next possible left after about 50 meters.
Go over the little bridge and we are the drive immediately on your right.
