Description
This unique handbuilt cabin is as luxurious on the inside as it is rustic on the outside. Set in it's own secluded woodland glade with a barbecue and a campfire for your own exclusive use, this really is the perfect place for a romantic getaway for those who enjoy the great outdoors.
Inside and out, it's full of beautiful wooden features, from the heartwood oak frame made of naturally fallen oak, to the bed head of holly with it's exquisite grain.
It has an en suite with a shower which has good water pressure and a kitchenette with a coolbox large enough for bottles of champagne.
The electricity is provided by solar panels and the room warmth and hot water is provided by a woodburning stove, making this cabin the most environmentally conscious accommodation available.
The cabin is fully wheelchair accessible. If you have accessibility requirements, please contact the owners who will do all they can to accommodate your needs.

Location description
The cabin is set in an area known as "the land between the moors". This is the area between Exmoor and Dartmoor which is the most unspoilt area of Devon.
Other activities
This is one of the best places in the country to view the night's sky.
The woods that the cabin is set in has been described by Devon Wildlife Trust as "a mosaic of habitats" and is well worth exploring

Directions
From outside Devon, take the M5 to junction 27 and head towards Barnstaple on the A361.
We are about 7 miles from Tiverton and 15 miles from South Molton on the A361 (North Devon Link Road).
There are 3 turnings marked “Rackenford” off the A361
Take the second turning from either direction
At the end of the road turn left
After 1 field on the left you will see a turning into the woods with a green gate and our sign saying “Hensons Wood”
