    Description

    There are two luxury lodge styles available at Brompton Lakes each determined by the shape and size of the plot:

    Lodge Type A
    Type A is the smaller of the two luxury log cabin style lodges at 114m2 but has a good sized kitchen with a generous open plan dining and living area. It also benefits from a utility room and and three double bedrooms one containing a double bed and the other two containing a super king size, split-link bed which can be converted into two singles. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with the other two rooms utilizing the family bathroom which also has a shower.

    Lodge Type B
    Type B is the slightly bigger of our luxury lodges at 125m2, still with an equally pleasant open plan living and dining area and three bedrooms each with split link double beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite with bath and separate shower whilst the family bathroom serves the other two bedrooms and has a bath with shower above.

    All of our luxury lodges have wooden floors throughout, good-sized kitchen/dining areas with soft touch units and composite stone work surfaces and an open planning living space with flat-screen TV and audio system. A futuristic and eye-catching log burning heat storage stove forms the central point of the lounge area. The unusual rounded contours of the stove are more than just elegant design the stove can be rotated to suit and can provide several hours of heat with the stone cladding of the stove acting like a thermal storage heater. Lodges Percy and Jules lodges each host an exclusive hot tub.

    Location description

    Brompton Lakes sits on the edge of Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, close to the tiny, picturesque village of Easby, famous for Easby Abbey, a much-visited and well-loved historical landmark founded by Premonstratensian monks in 1152. The Abbey ruins are free to visitors and make a short but pleasant detour when walking into Richmond along the banks of the River Swale.

    Richmond itself is a charming Georgian market town best-known for its impressive 11th century castle as well as being an eclectic melting pot of historic buildings, cobbled streets and ancient treasures. Youll find a good choice of pubs and plenty of places to eat, as well as shops to stock up on essentials and gifts, and of course, miles and miles of the best walking and mountain bike country in England.

    Deposit/Booking Notes

    We often have last minute deals so please get in touch do discuss this.

    The quickest way to book a stay with us is via the website. We spread the cost of your holiday by asking for a deposit of a third to be paid on confirmation of the booking. Once the deposit has been received, due within 24 hours of booking, you will receive your booking confirmation email. The balance payment request will be emailed to you 8 weeks before your arrival date. This will include a link to log in to your account online to make payment or amendments to your booking. You can also call us if you are having any issues paying online.

    For bookings made within eight weeks of the arrival date we will require the payment in full on confirmation. If you would like to pay off more of your booking before the balance payment is due, you can do this by logging into your account and making an online payment.

    Payment by cheque is possible only by prior confirmation with Holiday at Home reception team.
