Description
Welcome to Maison Delmas, a Maison de Maître, chambres d'hotes (bed and breakfast) situated in the beautiful medieval Lot village of Puy l’Eveque.
The house and mill were built in 1769 and have been sympathetically restored and furnished with period furniture.
There are four bedrooms available. Three double rooms, two with four poster beds and one twin room. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a hair-dryer. A plentiful continental breakfast including cereals, croissants, fruit and yoghurt will be served on the terrace, weather permitting.
Guests have the use of the lounge with TV (English) and the salon for reading where plenty of books are available.
We are conveniently situated in the heart of the village with an enclosed garden perfect for relaxing in sun or shade. We have parking facilities on site and secure storage space for bicycles if required. We are within easy walking distance of the 10 restaurants in the village offering a variety of French cuisine.
The area has a host of things to see and do, be it visiting the many Bastide towns, walking in the hills and vineyards or enjoying the many festivals and fetes and markets available, selling local French produce and many gastronomic delights. There are a variety of attractions in the area including St Cirq Lapopie, Lascaux and Peche Merle caves, Padirac underground lakes, Rocamadour, Chateau Bonaguil and Chateau Biron. Picnics can be provided with reasonable notice.
We are very close to the river Lot well known for its good fishing of carp, catfish and perch to name but a few. There are also a range of outdoor activities in the local area including canoeing and boat trips on the ‘Gabare’ (a river barge) with trips cruising along the river Lot.

Directions -Maison Delmas is on the D44 in the village which is the lower road corssing over the bridge.
We are located next/behind the Boulangerie with large set of gates 50 m from the bridge.
Other activities
There are several painted caves to visit Lascaux, Peche Merle and other caves.
