Rooms and Rates
Paraiso do Ouro Resort offers 56 Suites with En-Suite Bathrooms (Corner Shower, Basin and Toilet). Each Suite sleeps Two(2), with the option of either a Double or 2 Single Beds subject to availability. . Each Suite is equipped with a Ceiling Fan and Air-Conditioner. The Suites also have a 3 Door Cupboard to accommodate your belongings. Coffee facilities are provided for as well as a Flat Screen LED TV & DVD Player. Every Suite opens onto a balcony with a Majestic Sea View.
Guests are reminded to please bring own Bath Amenities and Towels.

Paraiso do Ouro Resort has availability to a Conference Facility of 300m2; this can be subdivided into two areas of 150m each, this Facility is also available for other functions including Wedding Venues, Concerts and other Functions, Promotions and Events.

Activities
With loads of activities to choose from you can be sure to always have something fun and challenging to help keep your family, friends or team busy with. See who has the longest breath by Free Diving and Snorkeling some of the more shallow reefs. Or take your Paddle Ski out into the ocean and see if you could spot some of our Local Marine Life. For the adventurous out there be sure to bring your horse power and test out the 4x4 Trails Mozambique has to offer. When hunger or thirst strikes do not fear, you do not have to go far to find one of the many fantastic Restaurants and Cantinas around town. For the real R&R experience be sure to stop by Paraiso do Ouro’s own unique Cantina, "Galeao" and get a true feel of Ponta and its people. With such beautiful, clean beaches Kiting and Sand Castles are in order. The younger kids can make friends and enjoy a full day on our exclusive Themed Jumping Castle or race each other on our fun-filled "Slip n Slides", giving parents time to relax and enjoy a cocktail or two.
Be sure to bring along all your beach games and take full advantage of the sand and sea. Ladies look out for your tan that will be nice and sunk in by the end of your trip, but beware all of the African Sun, it can be harsh and draining in the summer months, sun-screen and hydrating substances is a must!
The resort's proximity to the beach and year-round sunshine attracts fun seeking families, business travellers and corporate meeting attendees year after year.
Ocean Safari's, Dives and Water Sports
With the spectacular selection of marine life it is no wonder that Ocean Safaris and Dives are so popular. In its seasons you can expect to see the local crowds of Dolphins, Whale Sharks, Whales, Manta Rays and Leather Back Turtles, just to mention a few. Playful Dolphins are of course the star attraction. The great selection of Reefs to dive keeps a steady flow of excited divers among the community in Ponta.
Surfing in Ponta is always amazing, whether it be small beginner Waves or the Waves to the likes of Billabong or Roxy pro. With an often experience of Marine friends to come knock you off your board for attention. Ponta has many shops which you can hire either surf or body boards and many more or bring your own along
Scuba Diving, Dolphin watching and Deep Sea Fishing charters are also offered by our Resort.
Ponta Weddings
Your wedding day is possibly the most important day of your life. The event of your wedding will always be remembered as your lives together progress on, in Ponta we have the most beautiful beach Weddings in the world, we do it all from; all white on the beach or all in flip-flops and no ties. All weddings are a great success due to the wonderful surroundings and beaches of Pont do Ouro. We welcome large group packages and help you manage your whole Wedding down to the Wedding pictures around Ponta.

Travel to Kosi-Bay Border Post and then if you have a 4x4 Vehicle you can travel to Ponta do Ouro, Paraiso do Ouro is in the Town of Ponta do Ouro
From Maputo
Take the Ferry at Catembe and then Drive to Ponta do Ouro
We provide Border transfers at the Kosi Bay Border Post and your car can be parked on the SA side of the Border at +- R30 per day in very secure car park.

By Car to Kosi Bay
From Durban take the N2 towards Hluhluwe, follow the signs to Mbazwana, and Kwa-Ngwanase. The border is about 20km after the town of Manguzi.
From Johannesburg, take the N2 towards Jozini, follow the signs to Ingwavuma, Tembe Elephant Park and then Kwa-Ngwanase. The border is about 20km after the town of Manguzi.
There is now a parking lot on the Mozambique side of the border. Just drive through the border and pay MTS26 / R6 for Customs Papers. The area has 24 hour security and you do not need 4wheel drive to get to the parking area. Park your car at the parking lot for R30 per day for shaded parking or R20 per day for open parking, don’t worry it’s safe to leave your car there.
If you are parking in the Mozambique side parking area, you don't have to pay R150 for 3rd party insurance. Bring your car papers just to show to the South African Police and let them know you are parking your vehicle in the Mozambique lot.
Remember the border closes at 5pm, no exceptions.
