Casa La Nuez offers B&B accommodation for up to 4 people (and max. 2 children extra) in the village of Los Rios, near to Almedinilla and set in the Cordoban countryside between the towns of Priego de Cordoba and Alcala la Real. Casa La Nuez offers boutique accommodation decorated in the andalucian style. One room offers a double bed and the other has twin beds. The letting accommodation offers wi-fi, bathrobes, private terraces and access to the garden which has a large swimming pool, sun terraces, and shade.
Every morning we will make sure that you have fresh bread, tea, coffee and milk when you wake up. During the afternoon you can ask us to prepare a light lunch, or comida as they call it in Spain, and at night you can stay in and enjoy dinner. You can taste local dishes, international cuisine and Belgian classics. Reservation in the morning is required so that we can buy our products fresh in the shop or at the local market.
Almost all of our clients come here to visit the area and included in that are the Alhambra Palace in Granada and the Mezquita in Cordoba. Granada is easily reachable in less than one hour. The Alhambra is one of the most beautiful historic palaces you can visit in Spain. Booking tickets upfront is essential and if you want we can assist. There is so much to see in Granada, you could spend several days there.
Cordoba is a magical place, and is very compact to walk around. It is one of the most stunning locations and steeped in moorish history, with flamenco festivals, and local markets.
There are other magical towns to visit including Priego de Cordoba, Zuheros, Zagrilla, the Subbetica National Park. For birdwatchers, walkers and a taste of spanish cuisine, this area is so genuinely natural, it is an oasis in itself.

Directions
Casa La Nuez is about an hour's drive north of Granada airport. There are some good flight deals to Granada from the UK (Iberia and BA), the Netherlands (Iberia), Germany (Iberia, Luthansa) and most other European countries. There are also regular flights to Granada from the USA (Iberia, American Airlines).
You can also fly into Malaga (1.5 hour drive) or Seville (2 hour drive).
Casa La Nuez is situated in Los Rios which is a small village North East of Almedinilla on the CO-8202. To find us simply follow the signs on the A339 to Alcala la Real (if you are coming from the north), or Priego de Cordoba (if you are coming from the south). The turning for our village is signed Sileras. Turn there, and then you will see the sign to Los Rios. The house is on the left at the beginning of the village.

Best B&B in Spain
We stayed here at the last minute and Jan and Mike Templeton were the best hosts ever. The house is wonderful, with private large bathrooms, and a lovely terrace. Too cold for the pool, but it looks beautiful. Jan is the best chef ever and we had amazing food and fun.
