Description
Thollon Les Memises is a charming French Alpine village in an 'all-year-round' location. Situated at the crossroads of Europe, Thollon is less than half an hour from both Switzerland and Italy.
The nearest large town is the world famous Evian, home of Evian water and the Evian Masters golf tournament.
In Winter, Thollon has been described as, 'the only ski-resort with spectacular views of Lake Geneva', offers 50km of skiing on 14 ski slopes for all abilities, plus snow-park and 6 km of cross-country skiing. Our property is just 250 meters from the ski lift which offers you a small and friendly ski resort which is ideal for families or those wishing to learn to ski.
For more experienced skiers, we are within 25 minutes drive is the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, with 650km of linked pistes connecting 12 villages. The region offers a variety of excellent restaurants and friendly bars.
In the summer months, the local area offers walking, climbing, cycling, para-gliding, swimming, fishing, golf, tennis, archery and riding. The village is only 55 minutes drive from Geneva Airport making it the most easily accessible ski resort in the Alps!

Directions
If you dont have SatNav, head into Geneva city centre and follow the lake. (signposted lac), chances are youll come in on the north side and have to head around the end of the lake onto the south side across the Mont Blanc bridge at one end.
There is a fountain in the lake which should always be on your left when heading towards Thollon Les Memises.
Once over the bridge, Evian is signposted and you should generally stay in the left hand lane until you pick up the signs for Thonon or Evian.
Youll eventually cross into France through an empty border post. Youll come to a roundabout where a new looking road branches off to your right. The sign post is for Montreaux and this is the Thonon bypass. Take it to avoid the traffic in the historic town of Thonon.
Once you leave the by-pass, Evian is signposted so you should continue until you drive into the town with the lake on your left.
When you get to Evian, keep left along the side of the lake and until you find the casino (gambling) on the right hand side of the road. Shortly after the casino you should pick up the signs for Thollon just before the Hilton Hotel.
The signs will take you all the way to the village and LeSlalom19 is up a small road on the right just before you get to the Ski lift
