    Description

    Only 25 minutes on the 275 from Tampa International Airport, and you will find yourself at Isla Del Sol, a paradise island across the bridge from the famed, mile long, golden sands of St Petersburg beach. The Island which is accessible by roads is a golf course clustered with homes. It has its own tennis courts, its private beaches, and is a virtual bird sanctuary. Within the vicinity, are restaurants with nightly live entertainment, hairdressing salon, bank, fashion shops etc. We

    In one direction is St Petersburg beach, in the other is the award winning Fort De Soto island.
    St Petersburg offers any kind of water sports, shopping malls and outlets, theatre, art galleries and museums, endless eating and entertainment. Boat trips, bowling, cruises, nature reserves and much more.

    90 minutes and you are in Disney, Busch gardens etc. Closer in the opposite direction is Anna Maria Island, Sarasota, and further South is Naples, The Everglades, and Fort Myers for a ferry to the Keys.

    Other Activities: theatre, bowling, nature reserves.

    Golf: The golf course on the island is available to guests at Off Peak times,May to November I think. Otherwise, there are endless golf courses all around the area. People like to visit other courses just for the sake of variety.

    Location description

    Isla Del Sol is an island which is accessible by multi-lane roads with beaches in every direction. Over the bridge and to the right is the Mile long St Pete beach, to the left over the bridge is the artsy Passa Grille area with its own mile long beach, and then from Isla and west there's the nature and historic reserve of Fort de Soto, with its BBQ facilities and bird watching opportunities.

    Isla is built on a golf course and golfing is sometimes available if membership demand allows it.

    St Pete offers regular events which could include outdoor theatre, soul concerts , outdoor films, fairs and much more

    Tourist attractions

    Busch Gardens apart from Disney and Epcot and the other well known attractions are within driving reach.

    Directions

    The condo is ideally located very close to the I 275 which goes South to Sarasota, North to Tampa and Orlando, and in St Petersburg you'll find art drama, sports nature reserves, sea sports, music, comedy, dancing, fishing, cycling, bowling, masses of eating out opportunities, and of course lots of fishing.

    There is an Association Pool, which is heated and hot tub which is a couple of minutes walk from the condo. The pool area is surrounded by palm trees with many sunbeds, and is near to a large lake with a jet.

    1 Double/s with ensuite, 1 Twin/s with ensuite
    It is a 2 bedroom condo. You enter the main bedroom suite through double doors. The bathroom has a twin vanity unit, bath and shower, and there is a walk-in closet with mirror door in the bedroom. There is also a smart TV in this bedroom.
    The second bedroom has 2 single beds, walk-in closet with en suite shower room. This shower room is also accessible from the lounge.

    1 Bath/s, 1 Shower/s, 3 Wash basin/s, 2 Toilets/s, Jacuzzi/Hot Tub
    The Hot tub is by the pool. Not in the condo.

    There are a few VHS tapes at the condo. The condo has cable and Wifi.

    There are sufficient chairs in the condo to accommodate 10 people
    Kitchen/Utility: Oven, Hob, Grill, Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Coffee maker, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Tumble dryer, Ironing board, Iron
    The condo is my home when I am there . I have prepared dinner for 13. So you should find everything you need. You may even find food in the cupboards. If it is there then it is yours to use.
    Outdoors: Swimming Pool, Balcony, Sunloungers, Patio table, Patio chairs
    There are armchairs in the balcony and beach furniture in the closet.
    Access: Car essential, Off road parking, Secure parking, Stairs
    I'm on the upper floor, so there are a few stairs to negotiate, approx 16.
    Services: Linen provided, Towels provided, Cleaning extra
    Behind the louvre doors in the kitchen are a washing machine and large dryer, but the cleaning and laundry after you leave is payable.
    Meals: No meals, but you may find some food in the cupboards and maybe fridge.
