Location description
Villa Bartol is situated in Pjescana Uvala, located about 3 km from the center of Pula. This modern settlement streches along the sea line and is separated from the town by pine woods, making it an ideal vacation site. The closeness of the sea and the sandy beach, long walks along the coast, and a the peaceful setting are ideal for families with children.
On the other hand, short distance to a large town such a Pula offers different kinds of entertainment possibilities. Pula is a town with 60,000 inhabitants, and more than three thousand years long history. In addition to its numerous cultural monuments (from Ancient Rome through Venice and Austria to the present times), during the summer Pula hosts a variety of events on a daily basis.

Villa Bartol is a convenient starting point from which to explore the whole of Istria. In less than one hour by car, one can reach all Istrian coastal towns, such as Rovinj and Poreč (on the UNESCO list), as well as the historical towns in the inland part of the penninsula.
Directions
Here are the guidelines for reaching us from Trieste, Italy (or Koper - if you are going trough Ljubljana).
When you reach Koper you just follow the road signs to PULA and 10 km after Koper you will reach Slovenian-Croatian border.
After crossing the border you go up and on the first crossroad go straight forward.
After that you always follow the road signs to PULA and after few kms you will be on semi-highway.
You drive this road for about 50 minutes (depending on your drive speed) and you will reach PULA. Here is the exit of this semi-highway.
Now you drive next 1-2 kms to reach the the first semaphores. On this semaphores you enter left. Here you will be after 50 metres on the second semaphores. You take the LEFT-STRAIGHT way.
Now you go along this mainstreet for 3-5 kms and you will came on the next big crossroad with
semaphores. Here you go STRAIGHT.
You go now for 2-3 kms and you will came on the next big crossroad with semaphores. Here you go
STRAIGHT, again.
Again, you go straight for 2 kms and you will came on the third big crossroad with semaphores. Here
you go STRAIGHT, again.
You will go LEFT on the next crossroad without semaphores. (ABOVE YOU IS A SIGN - "PJESCANA UVALA"). You are 1,5 km from PJESCANA UVALA.
You drive along this main road for about 2 minutes and you will enter in PJESCANA UVALA..
You should enter to the first street on the right and drive to the end. There is small parking place. Park the car and find us on the street number 31.
