Villa Šolo is situated on the eastern slopes of the nature park of the Biokovo mountain, next to the seven renowned and protected lakes of Bacina, 3 km from Adriatic sea and river Neretva delta, the biggest delta and sandy beach in the Republic of Croatia.

Villa Šolo situated on the 3000 m˛ private property, is an ideal choice for all those wanting a real relaxation and privacy.

First class vacation is guaranteed by the vicinity of the famous historical centers such as Dubrovnik, Korcula, Ston, Cavtat, as well as the lakes of Bacina, the valley of Neretva river, beautiful islands and Pelješac peninsula, known by its high-quality wines.
Villa Šolo is excellent basic position on crossroads Split to Dubrovnik (E65), Mostar (BiH) to Korcula.
Located in Peracko Blato (quiet area surrounded with nature, forrest) lakes, not far from the traffic route in the Neretva River valley, is another place of beauty which must be visited. North-west of the Neretva estuary, only two kilometres from the port city of Ploce, a series of six picturesque lakes lie in a rocky valley. The bottom of Bacina lakes lies below sea-level, while the lakes surface lies above it. Trade brought the ancient Greeks to this area, and during the time of ancient Rome the area was a part of the province of Dalmatia.
This region is most famous for its gastronomic specialities. Eels, black water hens and frogs legs, amongst others, are specialities of the Dalmatian kitchen and present an excellent reason to visit the area.
You have a daily choice for bathing and sunbathing between clear fresh water in the sea near your accommodation, and seawater on the beach of Adriatics in Neretwa delta where the Croatian old man River reaches the sea. You can also swim in cold and fresh Neretva water.
From the southest point of Makarska riviera you can reach all worldwide known beaches on the coastroad to Makarska and nice beaches toward Dubrovnik.

Location description
Peračko Blato is village with the highest quality green and dry figs, and is due to population ratio and dried figs produced is in the first place in the Republic of Croatia and for this reason more and more locals are turning rural tourism and agritourism as a way towards a secure future.
Makarska Riviera with its beautiful pebble beaches can be reached within a 20-minuts drive. Split and Dubrovnik are both approximately 110 km away. On request Villa Solo can organize an airport pick-up against an extra charge
