Description
Welcome to Agriturismo VERDITA
Immersed in beautiful countryside overlooking rolling hills, Agriturismo VERDITA is the ideal spot for visitors coming to the region of Piedmont.
It's a pristine place, which offers serenity, quiet, and peace of mind. Come and wander down our green paths either by foot or by bike; discover spectacular vistas around every curve; stop for a photo or to smell the wild flowers.
Our four self-catering apartments (2 one bedroom apartments and 2 studios) have all been designed to provide an informal, relaxing home base for your holiday. All apartments are equipped with TV, independent heating and fully furnished kitchens and bathrooms.
Perfectly situated between the Italian Alps and the Mediterranean sea, our agriturismo is ideally located for visiting cities such as Acqui Terme (the Romanesque city famous for its thermal waters and spas), Asti (known for the oldest Palio - or horse race - in Italy), Alba (the city of the White Truffle), Mombaldone (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy) and Canelli (where the underground Wine Cathedrals, a UNESCO Heritage site, are located).
The Agriturismo is approximately a one hour drive from the Italian Riviera, one hour and a half from Genoa and Torino, and two hours from Milan, Monte Carlo, and the south of France.
We've created Agriturismo Verdita to be your home away from home.
Why stay at an Agriturismo (Agritourism)
An agriturismo is a working farm that offers accommodations to tourists. In order for a farm to qualify as an agriturismo, a certain percentage of the farm's income must be derived from agriculture.
A vacation on a farm in Italy will bring you into contact with the country beyond the tourist sites and the urban landscape. It will allow you to experience rural Italy and its slower rhythm. You will have the opportunity to sample local products and witness the wonderful natural cycle of agricultural practices. Agriturism is low-impact, green turism.

10 reasons to come to PIEMONTE (PIEDMONT)
1. It's not over run by tourists. The people are genuinely pleased to see you and prices in bars and restaurants are not inflated.
2. Piemonte boasts some of Europe's most breathtaking landscapes which take the form of vines and rolling hills therefore making it ideal for those who enjoy sporting activity such as trekking, horse riding and cycling.
3. The blue waters, the attractive coastline and beaches of the Italian Riviera are less than an hour away.
4. Piemonte is home to some of the world's most respected award winning wines such as Barbera, Barolo, Barbaresco, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, and Asti Spumante among many others. Piemonte also produces two thirds of Italy's rice and a host of superb fruits and vegetables. Its exquisite white truffles are world famous.
5. Piemonte is a territory with extraordinary natural resources, where the passing of centuries has left an indelible mark: an extremely valuable architectural and artistic heritage that goes from Roman remains, through various style, to Liberty and contemporary architecture.
6. This region has one of Europe's most elegant old cities in the shape of Turin, a monument to cafe society.
7. Alba and Bra, Asti and Acqui Terme: towns which are the focal points for an area comprising hundreds of small villages, each of which has its own distinguishing feature, may it be a product, a viewpoint, or a castle.
8. Virtually every weekend throughout the year, villages hold events and festivals re enacting historical events or celebrating local food and wine.
9. The regions of Langhe and Monferrato are well served by airports and public transport. In fact, the region of Piedmont probably has some of the best air links in Italy. If you're flying from other parts of Europe, the USA or the rest of the world there is sure to be an easy route.
10. This is a land of Roman and Medieval hilltop villages, endless slopes of multicolored vineyards, heartbreakingly beautiful landscapes of steep valleys and hilltop Castles with the distant snow-capped Alps as the back drop.
