Location description
Villa Nell is set on the island of Solta. Solta is one of the sunniest Adriatic islands with a most congenial climate. At the same time maybe more than any other neighboring island, Solta has preserved its nature so that figs, olives, grapes, carob trees, rosemary, capers, sage, oregano, pyrethrum, agrimony, sea lavender and other aromatic and medicinal plants and spices have become its trademark. Although there can be no doubt about the importance of island's cultural heritage, the image of the island is based more on the great beauty of it's nature. Rare are islands with so many kilometers of pathways through olive groves, fields, vineyards, pine tickets and fragrant Mediterranean evergreen shrub.
In the face of the healthy north wind, the crystal clear sunny skies and unfathomable silence, or rather, the sound of pure nature is something that many an urban manager dreams about as a perfect anti stress programme on days when they feel overrun by the pace and tensions of everyday life.
