Description
Thank you for your interest in la Douiria.
It is an apartment next door to the main house, Riad O2, for your exclusive use, with a spacious reception room, 2 bedrooms with open bathroom and a large roof-top terrace.
You will be able to use the Riad O2 facilities, such as the free jacuzzi-pool, the hammam, and wander about the riad as you wish, around the main patio by the fountain, or the roof terrace.
Massage and hammam treatments are also available in the main riad.
Breakfast will be served when you are ready, either in your own little house (la Douiria) or in main riad, same for drinks and dinner.
Rachida, our chef, can prepare delicious Moroccan dishes to bring you the best of Moroccan cuisine. Dinner is €17 per person for a starter such as an assortment of Moroccan salads or soup followed by a couscous or tajine and then a dessert such as fresh fruit salad.
We are located in the calm Sidi Ben Slimane quarter in the heart of the medina, a 5 minute walk to the Souks and 10 minutes from Djema El Fna Square.
We recommend Aziz, our driver, who can pick you up at the airport when you arrive and bring you to our Riad.

Location description
The Douiria, which is part of Riad O2 is situated in the Medina or old town of Marrakech. It is about a 12 minute walk to the famous Jemaa El Fna square in Marrakech and only about a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Medersa Ben Yussuf and even less to enter the bustling souks of Marrakech.
Even though the Douiria is close to these major sights it is a haven of peace and tranquility once you enter the doors of the property.

Hot air balloon rides, quad biking, camel rides, excursions to discover the wonderful countryside around Marrakech and even further.

Directions
The best way to come to Riad O2 and the Douiria is by plane to Marrakech International Airport. We can then arrange for one of our drivers to collect you from the airport and accompany you to the door of Riad O2.This is a paying service but we highly recommend it as standard taxis will leave guests at a local square to make their own way on foot through the pedestrian streets.

We utterly loved our time at the Riad O2 - from the moment we where shown in through the door on our first evening to the day we sadly had to move on. This was our first visit to Morocco and we'd certainly like to come back.
We all looked forward to breakfast, it was an absolute delight to eat on the terrace. The food was beautiful. We ate breakfast and also ordered a couple of dinners, which were splendid too! A real authentic taste of Morocco.
Our two daughters had a hammam treatment - it was their first treatment like this and whilst they were a little nervous they really enjoyed the experience - again something very unique and a lasting memory for them.
Your driver made our stay so much easier! He had to wait at the airport a long time for us and we were grateful of his advice and insights. I don't think we would have been so prepared without it! He continued to be extremely helpful during our say. we booked a day trip to the Atlas mountains through him and this stands out as one of our favourite days of our trip to Morocco. We also used the services of the driver to take us to the coast.
