This downtown Manhattan apartment consists of 2 sleeping areas, there is 1 queen bed in 1 sleeping area. In a 2nd smaller sleeping area that has a bunk bed unit with 2 twin beds in it, one over the other, There is a living/dining area, well equipped kitchen and one fully appointed spacious bath. Comfortably furnished with all soaps,towels, linens and paper products provided for a lovely stay. Separate adjacent private guest laundry. Kitchen is ready to cook in, with full service and many extras. Apt is cleaned and sanitized before all guest arrivals. Apartment is on 2nd floor landing/no elevator There is a grocery and pharmacy nearby.
This apartment works nicely for a traveling family, as it is very well equipped for them or even just 2 singles. The low density lower Manhattan location is ideal, in one of New York's most sought after areas, with an active night life and nearby transportation to most areas on Manhattan. Historic district (19th century cast iron architecture) with lovely old wide cobblestone streets. It is just a few blocks from both major art galleries and up to the minute boutique shopping of adjoining SOHO, Broadway and fashionable Tribeca.
Foodies have much to celebrate here, as we are in the midst of the very best 4 * chef owned award winning restaurants in Manhattan. Home to the spring Tribeca Film Festival with local celeb spotting and on site movie production. Walk to Greenwich Village, Chelsea, Soho, Meatpacking district or Chinatown Wander over to the wonderful Hudson River Promenade where there are miles of an uninterrupted wide biking/jogging path in a traffic free zone that goes all the way uptown, as well as wonderful waterfront parks.There are tennis courts, ping pong, basketball, bike rentals, batting cages and incredibly beautiful sunsets with a children's only playground nearby.
We are near several express/local subways. 10 minutes to Javits Center, Lincoln Center/museums.theatre, great shopping, taxis on corner. Supermarket, Gourmet Garage, boutique shopping nearby. Spring break visiting the kids
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our month long visit to visit our kids. This is a fantastic location - subways, great restaurants, all the beautiful cast iron buildings of Soho and Tribeca. And art galleries galore. Jillian is a wonderful host, very attentive. The apartment has everything you need. Great kitchen, fully stocked. Large bathroom. Plus a washer dryer just outside the door. Lovingly decorated with antique toys and beautiful artwork created by the owners. It felt very much like home. Thank you for making our trip so special.

Apt is 3 blocks from the wonderful Hudson River Promenade, where there are miles of uninterrupted biking,jogging and pedestrian paths along the water, that go all the way uptown, as well as several other lovely waterfront parks, with childrens only playgrounds in a wide traffic free zone.There are tennis courts and splash pools for children, picnicing, movies in summer at night, sand volleyball courts, mini golf, rollerblading, ping pong, batting cages, bike rentals and an incredible trapeze park,where you can take lessons or just watch the fun. There is very good boutique shopping nearby and also several nice gyms.
All NYC has to offer is at your fingertips, with express subway one
block away to midtown shopping (10 min.) Javits Center, Linclon Center, Metropolitan Museum, Broadway theatres

Stay During NYC Marathon
I had never been to NYC before. Finding this place on VRBO just before our trip was such a blessing. We had no trouble traveling from the airport via public transit to getting to the property and checking-in. I traveled with my wife and 2 kids (ages 11 and 8). The access to the subways was perfect for us. We never felt like the neighborhood was unsafe in any way. The place was clean and had plenty of amenities that we needed. We were able to do a couple quick loads of laundry with the shared laundry appliances in the hallway just outside. It was quiet and conveniently located. There are plenty of coffee shops within walking distance also. The hosts were very responsive which is reassuring when you are traveling across the country with your family. To the hosts - thank you for having us! To future guests - you won't regret your stay here.
