    Description

    Dolphins is a comfortable Dog Friendly ground floor apartment in one of the lovely central old fishermen's cottages in East Looe. The property is centrally heated and double glazed throughout. It has one double bedroom and one twin room.sleeping four comfortably. There is also plenty of room for a travel cot in the double bedroom if required. There is a modern bathroom with washbasin and toilet.

    The living area is spacious with TV, DVD player, electric fire, and a dining area with six chairs. The kitchen is well equipped including a microwave and washing machine. Centrally heated throughout and Super Fast Fibre Broadband WiFi included. There is also a stable door from the kitchen leading to a small courtyard with back entrance. There is an outside tap which is ideal for muddy dogs and sandy children and also storing bikes, kayaks, wet suits and beach gear.

    Looe is an historic fishing port situated either side of the River Looe. The apartment is within yards of the river, The Banjo Pier and Looe Beach. There are also many little shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within a short walking distance.

    The coast path for walking enthusiasts is accessed just behind Looe Beach to Portwrinkle and Seaton or from West Looe to Talland Bay and Polperro.

    Smoking is not allowed in the property but is allowed in the courtyard.

    There is an allocated parking space in the Long Stay Car Park at the Mill Pool for which I have a permit so parking is free for guests. This is a ten minute walk from the property. I have applied for a seafront car park permit also and hope to have this by 2022 maybe earlier.

    Location description

    Directions from Plymouth-Follow signs for Liskeard. Follow the A38 to Trerulefoot roundabout then follow signs for Looe. At Widegates the road bears left and becomes the B3253. Just before Looe Bridge take a left turn into the town. Cars are permitted through the town for access. I do not currently have an allocated parking permit but am on the waiting list. If when you stay I do not have a permit a discount/refund will be made to cover parking cost in The Mill Pool Long Stay Car Park.

    Boat Trips are available from Looe, around the Bay, to Looe island or fishing trips.

    Slow cooker also provided. Great for after a long day out walking or sightseeing.

    The outside area is a small courtyard which has an outside tap for muddy boots, muddy dogs and sandy children. Although small it is extremely useful for bikes, surf boards, beach things etc. There is no road at the front of the property just a small lane/footpath so you can also sit outside the front.
    Access: Car not essential, Wheelchair
    The property is on the flat so could be used by a wheelchair user. You can pull up to unload but parking is at the Long Stay Car Park about ten minutes walk for which I have a permit so free for you to park.
    Services: Linen provided, Towels provided
    The beds are made up at the beginning of the week or short break and towels are also provided.

    Deposit/Booking Notes

    PLEASE NOTE BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY. Deposit 100. Balance due eight weeks before your holiday. 50 of deposit will be refundable in event of cancellation if cancellation is made at least 8 weeks before your holiday. 50 will be non refundable. For Short Breaks and winter weeks deposit is 50 of which 25 will be non refundable. Please take out insurance if you are concerned about possible cancellation especially after the eight week period when balance will also have been paid. However I always attempt to readvertise and rebook enabling some refund when possible. Very late cancellations are more problematic. CANCELLATIONS DUE TO COVID WILL HAVE FULL REFUND IF NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE HOLIDAYS FOR WEEK YOU HAVE BOOKED.
