    Two spacious flats located in a house built in 1872

    Our two self catering flats offer comfortable rooms with high ceilings and large windows. The nursery slopes, ski schools, supermarkets, restaurants and bars are all close to our house surrounded by a nice garden by making this an ideal family choice.

    During the month of June and July you are free to pick strawberries, beans and flowers which grow around the apartment. The house is centrally situated and gives easy access to the ski lifts during the winter.

    There is also a swimming pool & tennis courts close by during the summer holiday period.

    The lounge has both a comfortable dining area and a fitted kitchen area. Its entrance door leads to the covered terrace with a charming sloping roof under which is furnished a table and chairs to enjoy great mountain and forest views.

    Location description

    Les Carroz is a wonderful place for walkers and mountain bikers as it has hundreds of Kilometers of marked paths in the valleys and foothills giving endless opportunities for exploring the high mountains.

    The sport complex with tennis courts and archery, three swimming pools and other facilities are situated 200 m. far from the flat. In addition Lake of Annecy and Lake Leman offer every sort of water based activity in one of Europe most beautiful settings.

    Yvoire, situated on the shores of Lake Leman is classed as one of the most beautiful villages in France. It has retained its medieval character and parts of its 14th century fortifications. In the summer, day trips to Italy through the Mont Blanc tunnel are also appreciated.

    Tourist attractions

    Every February a magnificient air hot ballon festival is held in Les Carroz. You may watch the flambe descente (night time skiers with flame). Free mulled wine is offered in the village square not only when Santa Claus comes to offer chocolate to the children!

    At only 40 Km from Les Carroz, sitting at th base of Mont Blanc, you will admire its summit at 4810 m. above the see level. There are gondolas, telecabines, tramways and trains to take you up as you dare, the highest being the Aiguille du Midi, a pinnacle of approximatively 4000 m.

    Visiting the stunning Mer de Glace Frances largest glacier, to reach on the original 1908 Montenvers train, from Chamonix, then by cable car.

    Do not forget the ice grotto, the permanent exibition of wildlife, and the cristal gallery hollowed out of the rock face.

    In the Summer, especially, day trips to Italy trough the Mont Blanc tunnel are also appreciated as well as to Martigny in Switzerland.

    By Mont Blanc highway coming from Geneva pr Annecy you keep the second exit in Cluses than by national roud you drive up to 1150 m,during 15 minits, to Les Carroz.

    The central heating supplies the radiators in the two apartments. Each radiator has a thermostatic valve to control the temperature. The electrical current is earthed in every apartment to warrant the security of our customers. We have got the conformity attestation from the CONSUEL (French national committee for the security in electrical use). <br><br>At only 200m. near the house there are swimming pool for adults and a separate one with tobogan for children. For the children it is possible to ride a pony and have a lot of fun by the circus settling by us during the summer. Considering that our is a low allergen environment with tackling fresh air we welcome long term renters to whom we reserve special tarifs. Smoking is not allowed except on terrace and balcony. <br><br>Are at your disposal books from our private library including novels, histories of literature in French, Italian, English, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, scientific, human and social sciences issues.

    Deposit/Booking Notes

    Booking deposit at the time of booking is 25% of the rental sum, it is not refundable. The remainder is payable before handing over the keys. . Security deposit of 300 is taken before handing over the keys. It covers loss or damage in the flat, and deduction of 100 to cover eventual excessive cleaning. Holiday makers' personal possession must be covered by their travel insurance. Deposit cheque is cashed in immediately. Inventory list to check at beginning and at the end of guest stay.

    Rental prices are originally quoted in Euros . Prices may be subject to change at owners discretion. Our prices include central heating, water, electricity, tourism tax, car park in the garden. If possible we try to match your date requirements. Please contact with details for a quote. Prices are per week running Saturday 12.00 up to next Saturday at 10.00, anyway for key collection and arrival times arrangement please ask. Mid-week bookings and long Weekend bookings are also possible, please ask.

    The owners weekend rates apply to Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. For group up to 14 people the next door apartment is also available. Discounts available for multiple week booking. Special offer for Christmas and New Year ( 14 nights ). Special offer for two following weeks in July and August ( 14 nights ). The rental prices assume the apartment is left clean and tidy; cleaning can be arranged for an additional charge if required. Linen are charged 10 for each person per week and one towel 5 per week.
