    Description

    The house itself was built in 1906 for the Captain of the very first Fishguard to Rosslare ferry (SS St David). The 2 bedroom Garden Apartment is on the lower ground floor of the building, located in Goodwick near Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. We are right on the edge of the World Famous Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Goodwick is centrally located to St David's, Cardigan and the main market town of Haverfordwest.

    The Apartment was fully refurbished to a high standard in 2013 and can sleep up to 4 people. It is fitted with smoke and fire alarms for your safety. The apartment consists of the following accommodation.

    The Kitchen/Diner, has seating for 4 people, with a hob/oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. It is well equipped with everything you would need to cook a meal. There is a door leading from the kitchen to a private garden with patio area, barbeque and additional seating/eating area for 4 people.

    Back inside, leading off the Kitchen are glazed double doors through to the Lounge where there is a four seater sofa, flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, plus a selection of books and board games for your entertainment.

    Leading off the lounge is the good sized bathroom, which has a 3 piece suit with shower over bath.

    The sleeping accommodation consists of a double bedroom with storage and a large second twin bedroom, which contains two single beds and a good range of storage.

    A cot and high chair are also available free of charge by prior arrangement.

    Location description

    Goodwick is centrally located in Northern Pembrokeshire, being almost equidistant to all the main centres of Northern Pembrokshire, including St David's, Cardigan and the main county town of Haverfordwest, so makes for the ideal location for exploring Northern Pembrokeshire. Access to the Pembrokeshire Coast National is also only minutes away.

    Local amenities including an award winning Fish & Chip shop, great cafe which does a fantastic range of coffee and cakes and an amazing Sunday lunch, pub, pharmacy & grocery shop are all within short walking distance.

    Pembrokeshire Coast National Park was recently voted the best holiday destination Worldwide by Lonely Planet, the second best Coastal Destination in the World by National Geographic, only narrowly being beaten by Newfoundland in the USA and also came 3rd in the Reuters top 10 Hiking trails in the World!

    Pembrokeshire has topped the table of beach awards for many years with more award winning beaches than any other county in the United Kingdom. Pembrokeshire beaches have been awarded 13 Blue Flags, 13 Green Coast and 31 Seaside Awards by Keep Wales Tidy.

    This part of Wales is a real paradise and wildlife is abundant. Bird watching and opportunities to see and watch sea life abound. Great for walkers, photographers and wildlife lovers alike.

    Goodwick itself has great transport links with the Fishguard and Goodwick railway station, Goodwick bus terminal and the Fishguard to Rosslare ferry termianal all being only minutes away form our Apartment.

    The A40 is just 1 mile away and the M4 60 miles.

    Cardiff is the closest airport which is 114 miles away.

    Deposit/Booking Notes

    A 25% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due no later than 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday.

    A security deposit against breakages or damage of 150 will also be required at the time of booking and will be returned within one week of the end of the rental period (subject to no breakages or damage).

    Please note that the accommodation is not suitable for persons with restricted mobility due to the steps at the side of the house leading down from street level to the apartments own private entrance.
